💙 Simplicity Group Charity Challenge 2026 💙
We're proud to announce we've chosen Young Lives vs Cancer as our Charity of the Year for 2026.
Every year, our team takes on a fundraising challenge to support a charity making a real difference in people's lives. This year, we're doing things a little differently.
Rather than focusing on a single event in July, our team has committed to a series of fundraising activities that will take place throughout the summer and beyond.
Keep an eye on our page as we take on a variety of challenges and events, including:
⚽ 5-a-side football tournaments
🏃 Individual challenges, including our Managing Director Jamie Marsh taking on a half marathon, and several team members who will be skydiving for charity
🧁 The Simplicity Group Bake Sale
🥓 Breakfast mornings
🚶 Our flagship event: a team distance challenge where we'll aim to cover 152.8km in a single day, representing the average round-trip distance many families in Northern Ireland travel for cancer treatment appointments
This cause is especially close to our hearts as we've seen first-hand the incredible support Young Lives vs Cancer provides to children and families facing cancer. That's why we're proud to support this fantastic charity throughout 2026.

We had a fantastic time at the Export & Freight Golf Day, as we do every year!
The weather might not have been on our side, but that certainly didn't stop it from being a great day. It was brilliant to catch up with familiar faces, meet some new ones, and enjoy plenty of good conversations along the way.
One of the reasons we always look forward to this event is that it's about much more than golf. It's a chance to connect with people across the industry, strengthen relationships, and spend time with the community that makes our sector what it is.
A big thank you to Export & Freight for organising another excellent event, and to Lough Erne Resort for being fantastic hosts in a stunning setting.

Congratulations to our Telecoms Engineer, Jim Stewart, who proudly represented Simplicity Group at the NI Content Creator Classic this weekend.
Held at Spa Golf Club, the inaugural event brought together content creators, comedians, and sporting personalities, all in support of two fantastic charities: PIPS Su***de Prevention Ireland and Friends of the Cancer Centre.
We were delighted to sponsor a hole at the event and even prouder to have Jim taking part in such a worthwhile cause.
While the weather didn't play ball, the guys certainly did with everyone getting out on the course to help raise funds and awareness for these incredible organisations.

This week, we brought our Fleet and Telecoms teams together at the MANTIS building for a day of collaboration, learning and sharing ideas.
As the business continues to grow, it's important that our teams stay connected, understand each other's solutions, and find new ways to work together to support the businesses and people we speak to every day.
It was a great opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, share knowledge across both divisions, and spend time together as one team.
A big thank you to the team at MANTIS for hosting us and providing a great space for the day. We'd also like to thank Jen and Matt from Gamma for coming along and sharing their expertise with the team.
The day was rounded off with some well-deserved awards recognising the hard work and achievements of our people, along with plenty of good conversations, camaraderie and team spirit along the way.
A great day all round and a reminder of the value of bringing people together.

Last week, we were happy to be invited to present at the MPANI Member Event.
Our team, Matthew McCreanor and Dean Little, attended the event and delivered a presentation on "Minimising Fleet Risk in the Aggregates Industry", sharing insights into the challenges fleets face and the practical steps operators can take to improve safety, compliance, and efficiency using MANTIS & Webfleet.
A big thank you to MPANI and its members for the warm welcome and the engaging discussions throughout the day.
Events like these are invaluable for keeping up to date with industry developments, learning from some of the sector's leading organisations, and sharing knowledge gained from working closely with fleets across the aggregates industry. It was fantastic to exchange ideas, discuss common challenges, and explore effective solutions.
We also thoroughly enjoyed the Q&A session that followed the presentation, which sparked some excellent conversations around fleet risk management and best practice.

This week, we want to share some advice from Joel Doughty, one of our Senior Account Managers on the telecom team.
Joel works closely with customers to make sure they are getting real value from their setup at Simplicity, and here is how he approaches that from day one.
"When starting with a new customer, the first thing I do is listen. I want to understand how the business works, who the key people are, what they care about and where the pressure points sit.
It sounds simple but it changes everything that comes after.
If they need support, I already know the setup, so I can escalate it quickly to the right people without the customer having to explain themselves from scratch.
I can keep them updated throughout because I know what matters to them. And when there is a better way of doing something, a system or setup that has worked well for similar businesses, I can flag it because I have the context to know it is relevant.
That is what I try to do for every business I work with."
Long-term value in telecoms is not just about having a good product. It is about having someone who genuinely knows your business and uses that knowledge to make things easier.
