💦’The Ripple Effect’💦

Leander in partnership with the Kingsbridge Foundation is delighted to launch ‘The Ripple Effect’, a new initiative that will provide significantly subsidised swimming lessons and essential equipment for children from across Belfast 🙌

Research continues to demonstrate the inequalities experienced by children from lower-income families, who are significantly less likely to participate in organised sport and physical activity. The rising cost of living has made sport and the associated equipment unaffordable for many families.

‘The Ripple Effect’ has been designed to reduce these barriers by making swimming more accessible and ensuring more children can gain an essential life skill that supports their health, safety and wellbeing.

The project is specifically aimed at children who may otherwise be unable to participate.
