I’m happy to share my latest project for The Laurence Trust If you liked by Wellbeing/ Helpful Hints Zines, this should be another strong contender. Basing this on the themes of body dysmorphia “From Being Held Back to Moving Forward”. This little carousel Zine delivers the true and embracive visuals to living in darkness and taking the reader on a journey to a warmer and bright future. Stating the strong message “It’s Not Okay to Not Be Okay”, but with the right “SUPPORT YOU CAN BE OKAY”. Everyone should feel strong, loved and confident even in the most difficult struggles and challenges in life 💪 To not feel okay, it is never a feeling someone should have. They should have an action plan of guaranteed support and know where to go and the right decisions to make with no fear ☀️

To build this, the illustration performed with only one primary power source “Colour”🎨 The strategy which served as an emotional cue. Giving life to the tone flow, Fragmented → Confrontation → Connection → Recovery. Going from cold/ anxious visuals to then evolving into a warm/ grounded world. Combining this with researching and incorporating meaningful statements to express the illustrations and enhance the emotional deliverance.

Diving into my love for music and its abilities it has on my mental health alongside a whole population. The sound of music is one of the most powerful things to influence change. Going through life and the challenges we face, sometimes we can end up in a dark lonely place feeling there is no way out. Through the power of music, we can turn our lives into one big playlist and Rock N Roll our way to victory. Listening to your favourite songs or the right tunes at the right place and time, gives us the rhythm to love, treasure and appreciate the moments in life we have and the things that mean the most to us 🎧🎵🎶🎵🎶

This illustration visualises a powerful atmosphere and expresses how reunited together, experiencing the great moments fight back our demons and we can live in a world filled with the magic of Rock N Roll vibes. Emphasising colourful explosions and sonic waves, my goal focused on creating something as powerful and strong as possible the audience feel immediate impact from and embrace a world which we can all feel the rhythm to. Inspired by the colourful street art and graffiti around our beautiful Belfast 🙌

Skateboard Exhibition 3- LATE NIGHT ART

I am excited to be taking part in this upcoming exhibition. I have designed a killer skateboard which will be presented and open for selling. Around 40 artists have made such incredible commitment in designing their individual pieces and it is safe to say, we will have a range of amazing work that your jaw will hit the floor. Featuring live music by JBL_Davenport with his electrifying DJ skills and plenty of surprises to be seen, come on down and say hello to us 😎🎵🔥

New and improved designs for The Laurence Trust Inspired by my animation outcomes, I aimed to provide a powerful visual illustration capable of delivering immediate expressive impact to the target audience 🎨 Keeping the voice of “Shining a Light on Eating Disorders” maintainable through physical material and highlighting the commitment to reaching out to those in need ☀️ Even the smallest of designs can lead to big impact, especially in a face-to-face meeting, offering a supportive service in it biggest impressionable elements. Proud of how these turned out, now let’s get the printers into action 🖨
