Renthal FatBars fitted, wider and less sweep. The old man mirrors have been removed and replaced with some tidy bar end units.

Removed the ugly reflectors and painted a few bits. Next to come is the handlebars….

so here is my KTM for sale. It is a 97/98 EGS-E and iv owned it for the last 3 years covering approx 2000 miles.
In the time iv owned it iv upgraded the headlight & speedo. Fitted chain & sprockets, aluminium rads, cooling fan bypass switch, bigger front brake, ART carbon can & custom stainless centre section, maxxis tyres and converted rims to tubeless.
The speedos total approx 20,000 miles but that is higher than true as it had the wrong speedo drive fitted which was reading double.
Comes with a box of spares.

So now the wet weather and dark nights are setting in it’s time to start tinkering. Over the next few months I will giving the CB a bit of individuality. I will be showing the steps along the way but won’t show the whole bike until it’s finished. So first is just a little chrome coverage.

Valve adjustment on the KTM, turned out to be much needed. Was becoming more difficult to start.

Didn’t get too much done today as it was too cold for me and the power tool batteries. Mocked up and tacked together with a couple of extra degrees upsweep

So the KTM’s exhaust centre section is heavily corroded and rattles which I suspect is due to a broken weld in the baffle, and has also melted the mudguard. Got some stainless elbows to make a replacement.
