I'm an experienced teacher, now working full-time as a tutor and home-school educator. For those children who would like a little confidence boost heading towards their SATs, I am running Maths and English booster classes in 6-week blocks.

Up-levelling vocabulary is key for English writing. The more frequently a child hears a word, the more likely they are to use it themselves.
Today's word is 'idyllic'.

A real mix of formal and informal learning this week. We even made a dream-catcher, incorporating reading and maths skills!
