Junction Records artist David Scopes strikes back with an EP full of fresh, inventive breakbeat techno, including an unmissable remix from Bristol’s prodigy Hodge.
The EP opens with Day One, a masterpiece of intricate, organic beats tailored for the clubs. Hodge adds his explosive touch to turn it into a club anthem. On the flipside, Final Boss showcases the darker side of the British producer while the sci-fi ballad Mind Games ends the EP with style.

Following the release of its album Synestopia in June, Cool Tiger asked 4 of his main influential producers to take part in this remix EP. The Dutch electronic scene is well represented with the appearance of De School resident and Psychedelic Romance’s owner JP Enfant, hardware lover and Dekmantel’s favorite Nadia Struiwigh as well as live performer and Echobox resident Oneven. JP Enfant and Nadia Struiwigh both deliver psychedelic and dreamy remixes for Everending and Mask 002 while Oneven reassembles Alive as a complex IDM track. Finally, Junction Records’ own David Scopes closes the line up with a heavy breakbeat techno remix of Atlas.

Very happy to have Jack Fresia onboard on Junction Records. Jack was one of my first musician friends in Amsterdam and we've grown as live artist and DJ in parallel. We're also both part of Unknown Electronics.

Italian producer Jack Fresia is known in the Amsterdam scene for its groovy, organic techno music performed on his modular rig. Closer and Control open the EP with their psychedelic exploration of groovy techno, while Swamp and Really Long Gone show the faster, 5am side of Jack Fresia’s music.
