Here is the second illustration for XPPEN's 20th anniversary. My illustration is rather poetic. On the one hand, we have a desert representing the future, and this desert is cut by a river reflecting a landscape full of greenery representing the desert's creativity and past.

This is an illustration I did on the theme of "Back to Future, Create Now". 🎨

I wanted to represent a parallel between two worlds. On the right, a futuristic city in ruins, dehumanised, with angular, empty buildings and deserted streets. The repetitive advertising hoardings (‘just click on the button’) reinforce the idea of an automated, controlled world with no free will. It's a bleak future, where technology has taken precedence over humans and nature.

On the left, on the other side of a ditch, we find the XP-Pen mascot and a human silhouette, observing this dehumanised world. This space is intended to be colourful, lively, warm, with a painting effect, in direct contrast to the cold and rigidity of the city. This side represents artistic expression, nature, creativity, everything that AI or a purely automated world cannot fully reproduce.
