☀️ Viewing: Look West-North-West (WNW) from an elevated spot or flat open area. The Sun is very low (7.6°), so buildings easily block the view.

😎 Safety: ISO-certified eclipse glasses are required for the full duration (regular sunglasses can cause eye damage). Check local pharmacies - I bought a pair yesterday for €4.

🇫🇷 Headed out for Bastille Day celebrations? 🇫🇷
While heatwaves have cancelled events in parts of France, Paris is still hosting its spectacular fireworks and drone show over the Eiffel Tower tonight (July 13th) at 23:00.

The date change is a deliberate, long-planned tribute to honour the victims of the Nice attacks on their 10th anniversary tomorrow.

This year's beautiful theme is "Heureux ensemble / Happy together."

No matter where you are in Paris tonight, you will surely hear the fans!!

To join the festivities, head to the Marais or La Roquette (11th) neighbourhoods. Both areas will be pedestrianised from 20h00 to 02h00, with outdoor terraces permitted to stay open until 02h00.
