Some proud moments at Glam Observer ✨
It started 10 years ago with me simply sharing what I did to break into fashion. Today it’s a proven method — even featured in Forbes — and little Giada had no idea that her passion for fashion would go on to change the lives of so many others who dreamed of breaking in too.
Knowing that my work helps you make your dreams real is 10x more rewarding than breaking into fashion ever was for me. Every time one of my students emails me their win, it feels like getting into fashion all over again — the excitement is genuine, because I remember exactly what it felt like to finally walk through a door that once looked so close and yet so far away.
With the right guidance, everything is possible — the biggest dreams and the biggest names. You can make it too. You just need the right guidance.

Explaining how the fashion industry works from the inside.
Hi, I’m Giada 👋
Quick intro for anyone new here: I have a degree in management engineering and zero fashion connections and experience when I started. My first role in the industry was in the ecommerce department at Alexander McQueen. I worked at McQueen, Kering,Yoox Net-a-Porter.
In 2018 I founded Glam Observer, a fashion career academy. Since then I’ve trained over 5,000 people who wanted to get into this industry, and I was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 for it.

How to get into Vogue using internal mobility👀👩🏻💻
I started my career at Alexander McQueen, part of Kering, and I saw this happen every single week: people moving from Saint Laurent to Gucci, to Balenciaga, to McQueen, to Bottega Veneta. Internal mobility is real, and it happens constantly between brands that belong to the same group. Same for LVMH. Same for Condé Nast.👀
Almost nobody applies for fashion jobs and internships with this in mind, because you usually only find out these moves exist once you’re already inside. But it’s exactly the kind of thing that helps you most when you’re still on the outside — because you can get into fashion faster by applying to the less competitive brands within a group, then moving to the one you actually want.
Which is why I’m here. 🙋🏻♀️Since the day I started Glam Observer, my mission has been to help you decode fashion so you can get hired. The strategies people only learn once they’re in — I hand them to you while you’re still out, so you can move like an insider and break in faster. This has been the foundation of my courses since 2018, when I started the academy.♥️

Applying for fashion jobs and internships but not seeing results?
Hi! 👋 This was me years ago when I wanted to break into fashion.
You’re not alone.
But don’t make the same mistake me and almost everyone makes: believing the problem is:
The lack of experience
The lack of connections
Not being enough for fashion
Not living in a fashion capital
A short non-fashion resume
I had all these and yet I broke in when I changed just ONE thing!
In one month the doors opened not because I had added more experience or a new fashion degree to my CV. It was because I changed the WAY I applied. This opened the doors for me and over the past almost 10 years has opened the doors to all of my students as well who are breaking in just 2 months after learning the system!
I am teaching it now in my free masterclass! Comment CLASS 👇🏻and I’ll see you there!

Everyone prepares for the creative side of fashion. The runway, the shows, the most visible layer. That’s what people build their job applications and interviews around.
But fashion is a business. And whatever role you actually want — buying, merchandising, brand management, marketing, PR — you need to understand both the creativity AND the business behind it.
And before you think this is only for the “management” roles: it’s not. The most successful designers and stylists have this knowledge too. Every single one of them. That’s part of why they made it.
Shall we do a challenge where you can learn this side of fashion? Let me know if you’d interested in that! I am thinking something like 30-day challenge ( but let me know if you prefer less days!) daily lessons of 15 minutes average to learn this side of fashion. Maybe running in August? So you might have more free time and walk into September prepared? Let me know in the comments if your be up for this and your preferences about how many days and when! 👇🏻👇🏻
Want to stand out when applying for fashion jobs and internships? Instead of studying the brand like everyone else, study the job description and practice the tasks from home! Then build a portfolio with those tasks to show it to recruiters!
