Today was the last day of world handicapped day celebrations of last 5 to 6 days, celebrated as Divyang mahotsav .
The disability awareness festival started on 2nd December by spreading the message of Pulse disability or how to save healthy mother from having a disabled child ,specially Mentally challenged child,. Pulse disability is mainly concerned with Preventive measures ,so that healthy population of India don't have a mentally challenged or autistic or neuro development disorder child in the family.It was on the line of Pulse polio campaign which has eradicated polio from India. The vision of doctor Tulsi is have same type of campaign by the name of pulse disability which can prevent the occurrence of mentally challenge children in families. This has to be promoted across India in all the states for which doctor Tulsi has invited and requested all the NGOs government official club send various social activist to participate in Pulse disability campaign.
3rd December world handicapped day was full of fun special olympic games and cultural programs at Deva centre. About 100 children participated in special games cultural program and various other activities having fun fruits honours and medals .
4th December was celebrated by taking all the children for a picnic and socializing in park at nearby place. so all the children and their parents were invited to a park near by place,where they enjoyed various games, activities with all the staff of Deva and special invitee Dr Neeraj Khanna, consultant physician and diabetologist who distributed about about 100 refreshments to this children and parents Parents also brought various food items and distributed them showing solidarity and love for all .
5th December what's the day of a round table conference at Deva centre in which various NGOs and social activist educationist participated to talk and discuss about a burning problems faced by Mentally challenge children and adults in the society. round table conference was organised in Deva centre to discuss about various personal social and economic challenges faced bhai mentally challenge children and adult in the society and specially in Varanasi. 10 point charter was agreed upon by all to be place before district administration for its implementation in Varanasi as soon as possible.
Today was the last day of this one week long World Disability Day festival. On this day Deva International society for child care invited 200 disabled children of Varanasi to have lunch at Deva centre.About 150 children and adults joint in this lunch with happiness. After lunch as a token of gift from doctor kursi children and adults were given woolen blankets and caps to protect them from cold and winter season.
Sabhi plan festival ended by vote of thanks from doctor Tulsi who thank all the contributaries for the generous donation love and affection for this social cause and thanked all the staff of Deva for for their efforts and hard work for this beautiful celebration.

La Deva International Society for Child Care (DISCC), Varanasi, célèbre la Journée Internationale du Yoga
Le 21 juin 2025, la Deva International Society for Child Care (DISCC) a célébré avec enthousiasme la Journée Internationale du Yoga dans son établissement Deva Gram, situé au village de Bachhava, à Varanasi.
Plus de 100 participants — enfants et adultes — ont pris part à une session d’une heure comprenant des élèves du Disha Vikas Centre, leurs parents, des femmes et jeunes filles du village, ainsi que des écoliers. Le programme de yoga incluait des pratiques d’Ashtanga Yoga, de Pranayama et de Dhyana, dirigées par l’éminent Dr Kamlesh Pandey, ancien Commissaire en Chef pour les Personnes Handicapées (CCPD) de l’Inde, qui était également l’invité d’honneur de l’événement.
La cérémonie a débuté par un discours de bienvenue prononcé par la présidente de DISCC, Dr Tulsi, et s’est conclue par un mot de remerciement de M. Shyam Lal, secrétaire de l’organisation.

Cette année, la Journée mondiale du handicap 2024 a été organisée au centre Deva sous le nom de sashakti qui signifie autonomisation.
Des événements ont été organisés sur 3 jours
Le 2 décembre, il a été proposé camp de bilan de santé dans lequel 100 enfants ont reçu un contrôle complet qui comprenait un bilan physique, un contrôle dentaire et un bilan de santé mentale, avec des tests de QI et des conseils.
Le 3 décembre, les enfants handicapés ont défilé dans diverses tenues de mode et un atelier de parents a été organisé sur la façon de se débarrasser du traumatisme d’avoir un enfant handicapé mental.
Aujourd'hui, le 4 décembre, un événement sportif intégré a eu lieu
Des jeux olympiques spéciaux ont été organisés auquel environ 100 enfants ont de nouveau participé avec fanfare.
