Rashid Alketbi, Team Manager R-X Sport

Today we finished first and second in SSV and Mansoor is winner SSV and second overall in this rally and he jumped from fifth place to third place very close to the leading of the point and inshallah from next races be something special. We are very excited and proud of Mansoor his performance not just in open areas not just in the desert also he show in Europe first time race in Europe he’s first and second overall.

I’m very glad for this, Mansoor. Thank you very much. You really make us happy. And Hada, third overall and second in the SSV. I mean, our team are export first and second. By word of, to be really honest, a good driver or a good navigator or a good car, but without the right team behind you, without the right mechanics, the right management, the right team, i don’t think you can reach anywhere in the championship. So my thanks to you as not only a team manager but like an uncle because he’s the age of my father, maybe a little bit younger. We are proud of that. But I have huge respect for you. We are proud of that, really proud. Thank you, l

Riccardo Ambrosetti (ITA) 803, RPM Garage Racing team, National class & Lorenzo Vianello, Team Manager RPM Garage Racing team

Here we are, we made it to the finish.

First of all, thanks to Lorenzo from RPM, and also to my co-driver Cristian Darchi. We had an amazing time. Yesterday we even achieved a pretty good result, just off the podium. We’ll see how today turns out. This morning we had a few issues during the stage, plus a puncture, so we probably won’t achieve much in terms of results, but we had so much fun.

The car was fantastic and perfectly prepared.

How do you manage to prepare the cars so well?

We try to take care of them properly in the workshop before the event. We focus on doing quality work beforehand. The cars are quality machines — South Racing is a name and a guarantee. Maintenance is extremely important.

I’ve rented race cars before, and honestly those experiences were not at this level. What’s different here is that before the rally he asks you how you want to approach the race: do you want a car prepared to reliably reach the finish, or not? That’s the choice he gives you.

If you say no, he won’t even take you to the rally. That’s the funny part. He wants everyone to be happy and every car to reach the finish.

The important thing is to arrive with a smile. The result comes naturally after that.

In Sardinia, we brought six cars. Next up will be the Italian Baja. We’re already preparing for the Italian Baja in Pordenone. We’ll probably also go to Spain for Baja Aragón.

Step by step, we keep moving forward. The schedule is busy, and we have a great team of mechanics. In Sardinia we had six cars and twelve mechanics. They are fantastic people — reliable, dedicated, willing to work through nights with very little sleep. They are always by my side, and without them none of this would be possible.

So we have a happy customer, a happy team manager, a happy co-driver who is also a customer... what more can we ask for?

Did we win? Can we say we won?

I think we can.

Right?

We won. Okay!
