✏️ ZERO CONDITIONAL ✏️
A conditional shows the result of a condition.
In a conditional sentence, we have a condition clause, and we have a main clause.
FORM:
"IF + present simple" (for the condition clause), "present" (for the main clause).
USE:
We use the zero conditional for:
▪️ scientific facts
▪️ general truths
▪️ instructions
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
▪️ We can change the order of the condition clause and main clause, and it doesn't change the meaning.
▪️We can use "when" instead of "if" for the zero conditional, and it doesn't change the meaning.
Practice the zero conditional by answering the questions on the last page.
Have a good week.

▪️A long action was in progress at a specific time in the past
▪️Two long actions were in progress at the same time in the past
▪️We want to describe an atmosphere in the past
▪️We want to describe someone's annoying past habit
Practice using the past continuous by answering the two questions on the last slide.
