🏁ESBK 2026 Round 6 Navarra 2🏁
Race 2 today and we tried to find some extra punch out of corners 🥊 but did not make a huge step after all.
Anyway, race was pretty much re-take on yesterday with average start to it.
I tried to pass slower rider as fast as I could, but took me two laps on this narrow line track.
After those I set chase to podium fight and rode well to break again my race record, but was just a fraction short this time!
Gap to P1 was not huge and P2 and 3 were right in front of me… 😏 eitherway, close but no sigar.

Overall feeling is quite content after really difficult thursday and friday.
Hind sight, we should have ran what we know and works, already in Valencia. 😒

Mauro González is the new STK1000 ESBK champion 2026 and left no space for doubt or other if’s and but’s… Best man won and nothing left to say!

Now let’s see what happens next… one race left in the series late october, but let’s see. 🤔

🏁ESBK 2026 Round 5 Valencia🏁
Race 2 today and I went in with spirited mind. 👊
Yesterday’s race was old news and here was a new chance!
I took the best start of the season and first lap was also good one! Unfortunately going into Turn 1 at the beginning of the lap 2 was my downfall today 😵‍💫

I was maybe just a bit too hasty with downshift and somehow managed to get false neutral in…
This sent me directly out of the track in full stop stop stop mode.🛑
Eventually did stop and had to find a safe way back to circuit…
This whole crap cost me 20secs and obviously last place on my return.

Rode angry for rest of the race and this was decent ride, but in the end, indifferent P10 and P6 in STK.

Really the worse race of season but one with silver lining as far as pace goes.
I could blame bike or slow riders or whoever but in the end, mistakes were made on my part and thats ok as well.

Race goes on! 👊

Thanks to my crew whom I let down a bit but will bounce back.
Next wknd is Navarra so short memory is in order!

🏁2026 ESBK Round 5 Valencia🏁

Race 1 was proper battle with group of riders today. 🥊
I was right in the mix and sitting in P8 until on lap 11 a lapped rider who was just very clearly in the wrong championship was caught in very poor part of the track caused us all some drama… 🥶

Unfortunately two guys in front of me split him and his rear was then approaching my face way too fast, so I had to run off the track complitely to advoid crashing into him 🤬

This cost me a change to fight for podium spot and had to finish P9 and P5 in STK.
Still only 3 secs from P2 in the end, so pretty miffed about the whole s**t. 🤷‍♂️

Anyway, mañana mas! 💪

🏁 2026 ESBK Round 5 Valencia🏁
After summer break we are back live in ESBK championship 🥳

We have a new shock to test run from alpha Racing and so far seems good.
Qualifying today went pretty well with 1.34.9 laptime which gives us P7 for the grid. 👌

Wknd has been warm again 🌞 and looks like race will be ran again in hot conditions.💦

Race 1 today afternoon and Race 2 tomorrow.

🏁Finnish SBK 2026 Motopark 2🏁
Race 2 today was held in very wet conditions along with Scorching hot +14 degrees 🥵🤣🤣 ☔️💨🌧️

Despite all of this, race pace was really impressive with fastest lap of race 1.32.7
If someone told me before the race, thats what you need to do, I would have said it’s too much for me, but the bike was again mega and rider was quite ok as well it seems. 😌

Anyway, did not want to go any faster than was needed, so I was happy to sit and wait.
2 laps before the end, made my move and held on to another W. 🥇🍾

So good wknd for us with 2 wins and Pb lap with quite improvement. 🔥

🏁Finnish SBK Motopark 2 2026🏁
We made it to last race of Finnish race season and after pretty terrible friday (electrical fault, steering damper bracket failed, data system mailfunctioned) today was much better.😮‍💨

In quali we made very impressive push to finally crack into 23s which only one man (Niki) has ever made before. 💪🔥
My 23.8 was good enough for P2, but in the race managed the situation well and took home 🥇

Tomorrow’s plan is warm up and race 2, but weatherforecast looks very poor indeed, so let’s see what really happens and what we decide to do. ⛈️🌧️💨☔️

🏁Estonian Grand Prix 2026🏁

Main event today 🥳
We got lucky with weather as rain that was close, never really came down 😮‍💨

Start was ok, but Eemeli got very strong jump and took the lead.
I stayed right on his tale until lapper that was really slow, got in way and small gap emerged.
However as rain started to drip I got right back to Eme again.
However quickly after that red flags came out and race was stopped. 🥴

Re-start was repeat from first try, but this time I saw my chance to overtake on brakes going into right-left combo after back straight…
This I did on lap two, but just went wide by 1 meter and Eemeli struck back immediately on change of direction!
After this we did short 5 laps race on very good pace and I was looking for any chance to pass, but never found it. 🤷‍♂️
Close fight to the flag, but had to settle for P2.
Still new pb lap here of 1.13.5 and good wknd! 🔥

🏁Estonian Grand Prix 2026🏁

Eventful practise/quali day today at 🇪🇪 races.
We had electrical issue after Fp and were really knee deep before Quali started, but managed to put bike together just before.😮‍💨😮‍💨

To make things bit more ”exciting” another rider crashed and somehow decided to stay and stand in very bad place despite being quite ok. Yellow flags were out and my fastest lap also deleted because of this… 🤦🏻‍♂️

Anyway, put together another lap to claim P1 for tomorrows main event.

Let’s see how we do tomorrow afternoon.

🏁ESBK Round 4 Aragon🏁
Race 2 today was also warm affair as whole wknd has been.
Got a good start, but somehow found it difficult to get going immediately on first two laps.
I got passed while in P3, which woke me up a bit and then found my rythm.
Actually did a very good race lap in these conditions of 53.6, but othervise was a bit un-even ride.
Eventually fought all the way to finish the best I could but P4 Was best I could mustard today.

Good weekend overall and broke all personal records again without any changes to bike pretty much all wknd.
We keep chippin away 💪

🏁ESBK 2026 Round 4 Aragon🏁

As was expected was a warm day at the races. ☀️☀️😮‍💨
Start procedure was made actually shorter because of the heat and race reduced by 2 laps.
Anyway, as we got going was still, so hot that on lap 1 I was actually so conviced that engine would seize or rear brake was dragging, that I though about pulling to side…
I figured that I’d see how back straight goes and then decide, but turned out that it was just so damn warm that engine felt totally dead and was not a mechanical after all.! 🫣
After getting grips with that fact I could again focus on race itself and we made a big step on pace compared to last year yet again. 💪

I could just hang on tailcoats of lead group mostly thru whole race, but last 3 laps pressure was also increasing from behind 😬.
On last lap I saw a front wheel into turn 6, but closed the door and bit the screen to fight for P3, which eventually I did by hairline margin.
Great race and very good pace with good company.

Race 2 tomorrow in similar conditions I’m afraid 😅
