Our deepest heartfelt condolences to the Saroop family for their loss of a beloved son,brother, uncle and friend... Krishneel Saroop who passed away suddenly.. yesterday... Junior as he was known to most people was a member of the Vunidilo Rangers fc since 2014 and played left striker,left midfield and left back.. the Howell rd community will surely miss his smiling face and a good friend to everyone who knew him..
May his soul rest in eternal heavenly peace. Moce Ju.. till we meet again.

Springboks and Fiji Rugby 7s have come a long way.

Joost van der Westhuizen wearing Lemeki Koroi’s Fiji Rugby Jersey after the finals of the 1997 Sevens Rugby World Cup. The South African Rugby Sevens team have been great opponents to Fiji over the years.

While they have beaten Fiji on many occasions, I have noticed they have been very gracious in defeat. I particularly like how complimentary and gracious Philip Snyman as Captain has been when interviewed by reporters straight after being defeated by Fiji. Cannot be easy to hold one’s composure straight after defeat. Werner Kok and other South African players tend to pat the Fijian players on the back after they score tries as opposed to many players from other teams making late tackles after the ball is grounded and or swearing. Its nice to have good tough opponents, as opposed to dirty and negatively aggressive opponents.

Season Match #2
V.R.fc vs Lakeba
This Sunday @ 2pm
All players and Officials are required to be at the Ground .

Message to All V.R.fc Players from V.R.fc Manager per the President that we have two games coming up on the same day and the weeks training is scheduled at USP GROUND # 3 from tomorrow at 5pm.
The team is fortunate to have been given a chance to have Joint training sessions with Western Legends.
Lets Go boys show up in numbers so we can start this season with positive results.
Note, attendance will be taken at practice.

The Club would like to announce the Recent Passing away of two Great Men.
Mr John Paul and Mr George Maharaj.
Mr Paul was a patron of the Club also the Father In-Law of our clubs Secretary and Mr George is the Brother of our clubs President and club Captain. Mr George also Known by all as “papa George” was a Senior member and a die hard supporter for Vunidilo R.fc who never missed a game. The Club will dearly miss their Presence, they were not only members but family to us all.
May Their Souls Rest In Peace And prayers of comfort to the Family and Friends of these Great Men.

Note: the Club Players and Members will Be Attending the Reguregu (paying of Respect) for Mr George Maharaj on Tuesday at the Club Presidents Residence.
