Mass Times for Christmas Season.

PARISH ANNOUNCEMENT

1. Fri 29th Sept - Mass at 630pm (St Michael's Feast day)- no 7am Mass

2.Sat 30th Sept - Funeral Mass at 9am for Winston Kamsoo (St Peter Chanel Group 4A)

3. Sat10am -1130am Each Community to do its own cleanup for Month of Creation

4. Sat 12 noon - Interfaith Prayer Service at Vuiyasawa Park, with Methodist, Salvation Army and Muslims;

5. 5pm Mass on Saturday is CANCELLED

6. Sunday 1st Oct - Masses as normal at 7am and 9am

7.Monday 2nd October Mass will be at 8.30am

Announcement for the Youth

Bula Vinaka All.....for all youths that wish to attend this Mass on Sunday, there is a bus organized for pick up in front of the Parish at 2pm. Thereafter the bus will pick St Agnes Parish Youth in Samabula and head to Nakasi.

As part of the ongoing Revival Program by the parish youth, Today the Youth of the Parish had a Reconciliation program seeking forgiveness from each other on any hurt or wrong they had done towards one another. It was an emotional time as the youths opened up towards each other seeking forgiveness.

This was concluded by a General Absolution by Fr John McEvoy.

The youths are now more rejuvenated in their faith and to carry out their tasks within the Parish.

Please remember our youths in your prayers as they are the "Now" of the Church !

LOCAL Government Minister Maciu Nalumisa ordered Suva City Council workers to stop construction of a toilet facility and promised St Pius X Parish priest Father John McEvoy and members of the parish council he would immediately look into their raw sewage issue.
