An Awards Night to Remember!

Our members stepped up in style and dressed to suit the occasion as we came together to celebrate the 2026 season.

More than just an evening of awards, it was a time to reflect on the season, recognise the hard work, celebrate the wins, and appreciate the growth that rugby brings beyond the field.

Rugby is not only about the results on the scoreboard. It’s about discipline, commitment, brotherhood, resilience, leadership, and becoming a better person through the game.

A special acknowledgement and Vinaka Vakalevu to MILO for their continued support of the Eastern Saints Rugby Club and for sponsoring the trophies and JR White vouchers for our 2026 Awards Night.

Your support means a lot to our players and club, and we truly appreciate your contribution towards recognising and rewarding the hard work, commitment and achievements of our young men.

Thank you, MILO, for believing in our journey and helping us continue to and . 💚

Kids Club is back for another week.

🗓️ Week 4

24/07/2026

LET THE KIDS PLAY 🏉🌧️☀️

Children should be encouraged to play sports in all safe weather conditions — rain or shine. Of course, during cyclones, lightning, flooding or severe weather, safety comes first.

Sports builds fitness, resilience, discipline, teamwork and confidence. Let them run, get muddy, get wet and enjoy being active.

Safe weather. Active kids. Stronger, healthier and more resilient children.

Week 3 ✅

22/07/2026

Rugby offers children aged 5–12 years much more than just physical exercise 🏉

Through fun, age-appropriate rugby activities, children develop:

FITNESS and Coordination – running, passing, catching, balance and agility.

CONFIDENCE and RESILIENCE – learning to try, make mistakes and keep going.

TEAMWORK and COMMUNICATION – working with others and understanding their role.

DISCIPLINE and RESPONSIBILITY – listening, following instructions and respecting rules.

SOCIAL SKILLS and FRIENDSHIPS – building positive relationships with other children.

HEALTHY HABITS – staying active and developing a love for sport from a young age.

CHARACTER and VALUES – respect, courage, teamwork, sportsmanship and perseverance.

At this age, rugby should be about fun, learning and development—not winning. 🌱🏉
