We would like to sincerely acknowledge the students of Deakin University from Australia 🇦🇺 and the team at Think Pacific 🇫🇯 for the opportunity to collaborate on meaningful action projects that have the potential to create positive outcomes for everyone involved.

Partnerships like these provide a unique platform to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and work together towards practical solutions that can strengthen communities at the grassroots level. It is encouraging to see students applying their learning to real-world challenges while gaining valuable insights into the realities, strengths, and opportunities that exist within our local communities.

We look forward to contributing our experiences from the grassroots level and working alongside passionate young leaders who are committed to making a difference. Together, we can help develop initiatives that are relevant, sustainable, and beneficial to both the students and the communities they engage with.

Vinaka vakalevu to Deakin University and Think Pacific for fostering connections, learning, and collaboration that can create lasting impact. 🌏🇫🇯🤝🇦🇺

🏉 Kids Club – Wrapping Up Week 2 🏉

Tomorrow, we will complete Week 2 of our Kids Club programme, and it has been fantastic to see the enthusiasm, energy, and commitment from all our young players.

This is also an exciting week as the Kaji Rugby season kicks off this Saturday for primary schools around Fiji. For many children, this will be their first opportunity to represent their school, while for others it will be another step in their rugby journey.

As the season begins, it is important to remember that rugby is not just about scoring tries or winning matches. It starts with learning the fundamentals of the game—passing, catching, communication, teamwork, and playing safely. Strong basics build confident players and create a lifelong love for the sport.

Just as important are the values that rugby teaches us: respect, discipline, teamwork, humility, courage, and sportsmanship. These lessons extend far beyond the rugby field and help shape our children into responsible young people.

Most importantly, we encourage all our players to enjoy themselves. Make new friends, support your teammates, listen to your coaches, respect the referees, and have fun playing the game.

We wish all our young players the very best as they prepare for the opening round of Kaji Rugby this weekend.

Play hard. Play fair. Learn the game. Enjoy the journey. 🏉❤️
