The Battlezone Generation: A Story of hip hop in Suva
Let me take you back to 2006,a time when the city of Suva was just beginning to experience the culture of hip hop.It was a different world then. There was no Facebook, You Tube,no Netflix, smartphones were still a luxury for many young people.Entertainment was not found in the palm of our hands-it was found in the company of friends,on the streets of Suva, inside a small internet shop that became home to many youths. That place was Extreme Internet Shop on cu***ng street.Everyday, teenagers from all walks of life would gather there. Some came to browse the internet, others came to play computer games, burn CDs, or simply spend time with friends. While waiting for their turn on the computers, something special began to happen.Young people started expressing themselves through dance.Friendly dance battles became a regular sight ,attracting more and more spectators. What started as casual competition soon grew into something much bigger.(To be Continued)

Radakua Media Visual Story Telling Part 2
Tevita and Koliaci
The armies of Israel stood trembling on the battlefield.Across the valley stood a giant warrior named koliaci.Day after day he marched forward, raising his voice in defiance.
“Will any of you fight me?” he shouted.
“Where is your king? Where is your God?”
His words echoed through the camp.
The soldiers look at one another, but no one stepped forward.Fear had gripped every heart.
Even the strongest warriors were afraid to face the giant.Far away from the battlefield,a young shepherd named Tevita was happily tending his father’s sheep. He was not a soldier. He had never fought in battlefield. His hands were more familiar with caring for lambs than carrying weapons. One day Tevita’s father asked him to take food to his brothers who were serving in the army.when Tevita arrived at the camp,he heard koliaci’s challenge and saw the fear on the faces of the soldiers. He could not understand why no one would stand up against the giant.Tevita believed that the battle was not about strength, size, or experience. It was about faith in God.While others saw an unbeatable giant,Tevita saw an opportunity for God to show his power.Despite his youth and lack of military training,Tevita accepted the challenge. He walked to a nearby stream and picked up five smooth pebbles. To many, they were only stones.
But they represented something greater.
The five pebbles reminded him of FAITH:
A five letter word that carries the power to overcome fear. They also pointed to JESUS,
the one who gives strength to those who trust in God.Armed with only a sling and 5 pebbles,
Tevita stepped onto the battlefield. The giant
laughed when he saw the young shepherd approaching. But Tevita was not relying on his own strength. He was relying on God.
With unwavering faith, he placed a stone in his sling and released it. The pebble flew through the air and sunk into koliaci’s head. The mighty
giant fell before the power of God.That day, everyone learned a powerful lesson:
God doesn’t always choose the strongest,
the biggest,or the most experienced.
God often chooses the vulnerable, the humble,
and the faithful to overcome the enemy.
