On 28 May, the partners, policy makers, and youth representatives will come together for the GreenScape Final Conference - a full day dedicated to sharing results, exchanging ideas, and shaping greener, more inclusive communities across Europe. 🇪🇺

Day 3 recap — and Prague finally decided to cooperate with the weather. ☀️
After two rainy days, the afternoon was spent exploring the city under proper sunshine — a well deserved reward after a very intense morning.
Because before that, things were getting serious. The morning was dedicated to the preparatory phase of the EU law-making simulation. Participants were divided into groups that would then face each other the following day: the three EU institutions, a group of citizens pushing forward a European Citizens' Initiative, and lobbyists — ranging from Amnesty International NGO leaders to industry representatives from the fast fashion world. Each group had time to research their role, discuss their positions, and prepare their arguments.
The debates had not even started yet, and the room was already buzzing. ⚡

Day 2 recap — and it was another full one! 🌿
The morning opened with two expert interventions. Jiří Dlouhý from the Society for Sustainable Living led a thought-provoking session on what sustainability really means today. Then Enrico Bosters, chairperson of Youth and Environment Europe, joined us online to present the work of this European NGO and the many ways young people can get involved in environmental action across the continent.
After a quick session on participants' expectations for the week, it was time for something a little different — we tested the GreenScape Virtual Escape Room live, all together for the first time. The result? Mission accomplished. 🔐✅
In the afternoon, we headed to Prague 9 City Hall for a presentation of the Sponge City project — a fascinating initiative exploring how cities can adapt to climate change. The day closed with a walk through the green spaces of Prague 9 — a welcome reminder of what we are all here to protect. 🌳

The Prague week is over — but the story is just getting started. Here is our Day 1 recap! 🌿
The morning kicked off with the presentation of the week's agenda and a pre-knowledge assessment to understand where our participants stood on EU and climate topics. Then came the group presentations — a great moment to discover who was in the room: young people from Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Finland, Greece and Spain, all gathered in Prague for the same mission.
The expert interventions followed. First, Dániel Cséfalvay from PRINCEPS Advisory gave an introduction to EU institutions — how they function, how decisions are made, and an overview of current climate policies. Then Heda Čepelová, Alžběta Jurčová and Klára Školníková from the Centre for Transport and Energy took the floor to discuss EU climate policy, the role of Member States, and climate communication in politically turbulent times. The questions from participants sparked a really rich discussion.
To close the day, a guided tour of Prague — rainy, but worth it. 🌧️
