PurringPyjamas

This sweater to me reminds me of an autumn morning. You know, when the leaves are still hanging on, kind of, but everything is starting to look just a little bit frosty. 💜🌿
The sweater is soft, stretchy, warm, and perfect for tiny creatures who strongly disagree with the dropping temperatures. 😁🧶

Did you know that catnip is officially listed as toxic to cats on ASPCA? The herb that gets cats heavenly unhinged? So is chamomile and aloe vera, which make regular appearance in shampoos and calming products. So I put on my Sherlock Holmes hat, and investigated this glorious botanical conspiracy ✨️ the results of it are now live on the blog 💖 https://purringpyjamas.com/2026/08/31/toxic-but-also-in-your-cats-shampoo-meet-the-weird-trio-catnip-aloe-vera-and-chamomile/

This striped sweater somehow ended up looking like a tiny wearable universe: a little bit of sunshine, a little bit of magic, and a whole lot of purple. ✨💜

Cozy autumn vibes, but make it ✨vampire✨
Jupiter was kind enough to model this cutie pie sweater while showing off his baby fangs in approximately 90% of the photos. Very seasonal. Very threatening! 😂 available in the shop - baby fangs not included!

Slippery elm bark: sounds like something from a fairy tale, works like a fantastic gut-soothing remedy. New post is up — what it is, how it works, and how I've used it with Jupiter. ❤️ You can read it here: https://purringpyjamas.com/2026/08/03/slippery-elm-bark-for-cats-ancient-remedy-for-a-modern-cat/

Not here to cancel antibiotics — Jupiter needed them, they worked, 10/10 would recommend. But nobody warned me what they'd do to his gut afterward! Therefore... New post is up: what's actually happening in your cat's gut during and after a course of antibiotics and the (research-backed) trio that can help rebuild it. You can read it here: https://purringpyjamas.com/2026/07/27/antibiotics-can-wreck-your-cats-gut-heres-how-to-fix-it/ 💖

Botched dental surgeries. A "food allergy" diagnosis with zero evidence behind it. A gut destroyed by rounds of antibiotics. And a very stubborn cat owner who refused to just accept "cause unknown" as the final answer.

This is Jupiter's story... and it's also the reason PurringPyjamas has a nutrition section at all. You can read the full post (with actual medical documents) here: https://purringpyjamas.com/2026/07/20/two-surgeries-wrong-diagnosis-and-a-very-sick-cat-how-i-became-a-feline-nutrition-student/ ❤️
