Hey, friends!
If you are around this summer in Helsinki and would like to learn something crafty, I'll be having Flora Fossils workshops in July and August (dates are still TBC). In a 3-hour workshop I'll introduce you to the art of botanical bass relief and walk you through every step of the process of casting. By the end of the workshop together we'll be able to create your own flora fossils with local flowers so you can decorate your home or give as a gift to a loved one. Fill in this form so I can add you to the list, and we'll decide on the dates together. Looking forward to hearing from you!

I like mixing & matching various types of plants and flowers 🌿from the same natural habitation. It brings in diversity and lots of eye-catching 👁 details to discover.

Magnolias in the clay 🌸 It’s always challenging to catch the flower in blossom at the right moment to genuinely capture the shape, the curves, but not the smell, unfortunately 😅 Working with these flowers is a pure joy, they are big enough and leave good imprints, they are rather solid in texture, so it’s easy to roll them in and take out of the clay. And the bonus is you get to enjoy amazing smell of spring and freshness.
