Yesterday, the South Region office in Hawassa, in collaboration with FSD Ethiopia, successfully held a microfinance forum titled “Digitalization for Financial Inclusion Promotion in Cooperative Business.”
The event gathered representatives from over 30 Microfinance Institutions (MFIs), facilitating dialogue, knowledge sharing, and collaboration on the future of digital financial services in Ethiopia's cooperative and inclusive finance sectors.
EtIFT highlighted its key digital solutions, including:
Core Banking System (CBS)
Transaction and Bulk SMS services
Call Centre services
Upcoming Mobile Banking solutions
The forum encouraged active participation and fruitful discussions, with attendees raising important operational and strategic questions about digital transformation in the microfinance sector. EtIFT’s management team and Marketing and Business Manager provided practical insights and strategic guidance to enhance financial inclusion and promote digital innovation among MFIs

Yesterday, EtIFT, in collaboration with FSD Ethiopia, successfully hosted a high-impact microfinance forum titled "Digitalization for Financial Inclusion Promotion in Cooperative Business." The event brought together representatives from over 35 Microfinance Institutions (MFIs), fostering an engaging dialogue on the future of digital financial services within cooperative ecosystems.
Discussions covered our services, including transaction and bulk SMS, Power BI, CBS, call centre, and, upcoming, mobile banking. Participants actively engaged, posing critical questions that were addressed directly by EtIFT's management team and CEO, who provided insightful, experience-backed responses and strategic guidance.
