Thankfully, if you are seeing this that means your algorithm knows you feel the same. I am back this Friday 9 October for my latest Dulce Pecado party. Come and enjoy a late snack or maybe dessert with pop sing-alongs, feel-good R&B, and chair dancing reggaeton for the first half of the night, and then we cut loose to dance to deep house and nu-disco for the second half.

Por suerte, si estás viendo esto es que tu algoritmo ya sabe que opinas lo mismo. Vuelvo este viernes 9 de octubre con mi próxima fiesta Dulce Pecado. Vente a picar algo tarde o a tomar un postre, con temazos de pop para cantar, R&B de buen rollo y reggaetón para moverte sin levantarte de la silla durante la primera mitad de la noche. Y en la segunda nos soltamos a bailar deep house y nu-disco.

I have been posting a lot of flyers lately, so today I wanted to share something that is just about life here.
We landed in Valencia on July 20. A little over two months later, I am a month into my master's at Berklee Valencia, most days I am walking this city with my headphones on, and every week it feels a little more like home.
The music found me faster than I expected. Every Tuesday I play VIBE! at MADRE in El Cabanyal. I joined the roster at Radio City Valencia, a room in Barrio del Carmen that has been hosting music since 1979. And I started a party of my own, Dulce Pecado, at La Inocente.
When I moved to Fargo from Los Angeles in 2011, I did not know a single person. That city took me in and gave me 15 years I will carry forever. Now I get to do it all again, in a new language, with Jelsa and Ricky right beside me.
To everyone back home who keeps checking in, and to everyone here who has made room for us: thank you 🤎
At most parties, when the bar turns the lights up, that is your signal to head out. At VIBE! though? Sometimes the dance floor gets its second wind 🤭
This clip was taken at 01:30 in the morning at MADRE El Cabanyal. House lights on, bar shutting down, and no one wanted to go home. That is the room Adrian Black and I get to play for every Tuesday night, and it keeps growing every week. You can expect R&B, rap, soul & disco for those who come to dance and stay for the very last song.
We are back, Tuesday, September 22nd. Adrian Black opens the night at 20:00, and I take over at 23:00 to carry it all the way to close.

One bite never hurt anybody 🍰
Dulce Pecado returns tonight at La Inocente, and after the first one I am even more certain about what this night is.
It starts slow, and it is supposed to. Dessert, cocktails, a table, and music you can talk over. Then the songs you know every word to start showing up.
Reggaetón and Latin get their turn. And by the end of the night the tables are pushed back and the deep house takes it home.
That is the whole idea. A room where the night has somewhere to go. Kitchen and bar are open all night, and reservations are recommended.
Bring the person you always end up staying out too late with. Vale, vamos!

Un bocado no le ha hecho daño a nadie.
Dulce Pecado vuelve esta noche a La Inocente. Empieza tranquilo, y así tiene que ser: postre, cócteles, una mesa y música que te deja hablar. Luego van apareciendo las canciones que te sabes enteras. El reggaetón y lo latino tienen su momento. Y al final de la noche se retiran las mesas y el deep house se lleva el cierre.
Cocina y barra abiertas toda la noche. Se recomienda reservar.
Ven con esa persona con la que siempre acabas saliendo hasta tarde. Vale, vamos!

Earth, Wind & Fire’s “September" has a way of doing something to people on the dancefloor, where the second those horns hit, something in everybody just knows. This clip is from our last VIBE! party, and it is exactly why we keep coming back to that song, and creating these moods at Madre.
VIBE! keeps growing. New dancers, new dance moves, and the same curation Adrian Black and I have carried since the start with soul, R&B, and rap, every Tuesday night inside MADRE El Cabanyal. We’re still the only R&B-led party in Valencia, and that means something to us.
We are back again this Tuesday, 15 September, from 20:00 until close. Vale, vamos.
