Sophisticated Simplicity – Graphite Bathroom

A space where minimalism meets natural elegance. This bathroom designed by .design embodies the perfect balance of functionality and aesthetics – nothing superfluous, just exquisite details.

🖤 Graphite Sophistication – a bold yet timeless choice for the shower and toilet.
🌿 Natural Materials – stone and wood add warmth and texture to the space.
🌅 Panoramic Beauty – floor-to-ceiling windows let in light and offer stunning views.

A bathroom shouldn’t just be practical – it should be an oasis of relaxation and style. What could be more beautiful?

A Bedroom Where Style Meets Comfort

We, together with the client, chose the first design option, which perfectly reflects the philosophy of our studio. Dark tones in the bedroom create an atmosphere of coziness and tranquility.

💭 Opinion of the Studio Director, Kateryna Churina:

“I absolutely love using dark tones in bedrooms. They help you quickly transition into a state of rest, relax, and prepare for a good night’s sleep. Moreover, such tones add depth to the space, making it appear visually larger and more spacious.”

In this project, every detail is carefully thought out to ensure the bedroom becomes a personal retreat for relaxation and inspiration:

🌑 A dark accent wall with textured stone.

🌿 Warm wooden headboard that balances the strong tones.

💡 Soft lighting to create a calm ambiance.

🪴 Lush greenery that enlivens the interior and maintains a connection to nature.

This bedroom is an ode to modern design and comfort. What do you think of this approach to creating a restful space?

✨ Which bedroom design do you prefer? ✨

📌 1 — This option emphasizes naturalness and minimalism. A dark accent wall with textured stone blends beautifully with the warm wooden headboard and light fabrics, creating an atmosphere of tranquility and relaxation.

📌 2 — A more classic approach with an additional wooden panel that makes the bedroom feel cozier and more complete. Wood dominates the space, adding warmth and balancing the contrasting accents.

Modern Minimalism with Natural Accents

This bathroom project is the perfect balance of simplicity and natural luxury. We created a space where every detail contributes to a sense of harmony and comfort:

🛁 A built-in bathtub with panoramic views that immerses you in tranquility.

🖤 Deep, dark stone textures and an elegant matte black toilet.

🌿 A ceiling made of wooden slats adds warmth and a connection to nature.

💡 Soft lighting highlights the geometry of the space, making it even cozier.

🎨 The contrast between the light floor and dark walls makes the interior striking and memorable.

Every detail here is an ode to minimalism and sophistication. How do you like this atmosphere for rest and rejuvenation?

I'm sure that everything in life is built on contrasts. After something really bad, something incredibly good always comes — like the sunrise after every sunset 🌅
2024 has been an incredible year for me, my family, and my company. Thank you for everything! 🙏

This December will remain in my memory as the most anticipated month!

We finally moved into our own house!

It wasn't easy, we were all very tired, but damn, how cool! I couldn't even dream of such an end to the year. We celebrated Christmas in our house - among boxes and suitcases, but with a huge Christmas tree that the children decorated themselves.

It's definitely not a house decorated for Christmas by a famous interior designer, but it will become our warmest shared memory for life!

I have prepared a lot of content for next year about arranging my own home, so don't unsubscribe, add me to your favorites and see you in the new year!

Home Office Essentials: How to Maximise Comfort and Productivity.
I'll tell you about a project of mine for a client who works in IT and as a seafarer.

Let's start with an analysis:

- Identify the type of work: how do you work?
My client works remotely from home two days a week and in the office the rest of the time. He also works on his personal projects from home and plans nautical itineraries on maps.
- Determine the hours of work: how many, and when?
He usually works in the morning from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and sometimes in the evening from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- What kind of equipment is needed for the job?
My client only needs a MacBook Pro. He needs large maps for planning nautical itineraries, which require a lot of desk space and good overhead lighting.

Choosing the right space:

- A location close to the window, on the right side was chosen for the desk.
My client is right-handed, so the light falls to the left, avoiding shade over his hands.
- The desk was made to order, so it could be sized to fit the niche in which it's located.
The work space feels comfortable and is protected by the wall on the right.

Choice of furniture:

- You might be surprised that the desk doesn't have a usual desk chair.
The desk chair was planned to buy later, and we used one of the dining room chairs temporarily; it turned out to be quite comfortable and stayed for a long time.
- When choosing a ready-made table and shelves, we considered their dimensions when renovating.
Had we needed to buy a ready-made table, we could resize the gas pipe trim on the left and retain the advantages of the built-in furniture.

Atmosphere and mood:

- The easiest way to create ambiance is with light.
We didn't want to use a regular table lamp. The client didn't want unnecessary items on the table, so we used a shelf lamp with a swivel arm, which has the same effect as a desk lamp, but doesn't take up space on the table.
- Music sets the mood.
To minimize the amount of wires, the main sound system for the projector and atmospheric music during work was a set of JBL speakers.
- Blackout curtains.
During home presentations or relaxation while watching a movie, it may be necessary to make the room dark. In the evening, a bright lantern shines through the windows. Blackout curtains help to make the room dark and feel comfortable.
