ATLIC
ATLIC will create a new approach for innovation and youth entrepreneurship.

🚀 Building a legacy beyond the project
ATLIC has been a space where young people have found inspiration, developed new skills, created meaningful connections, and transformed ideas into initiatives capable of generating positive change.
The Blue Leaders we celebrate today are proof that investing in youth means investing in the future of our communities, our oceans, and our territories.
The knowledge shared, the partnerships created, and the entrepreneurial spirit fostered through ATLIC will continue to inspire new actions long after the project comes to an end.
🌍 Because a sustainable blue future is not built overnight.
It is built by empowering young people to lead, innovate, and become active contributors to a better world.
💙 And this is only the beginning.

This week, we had the opportunity to present in Brussels one of the key outcomes of the ATLIC project: the book Empowering Youth Innovation in the Blue Economy, a publication that captures the knowledge, experiences, and methodologies developed throughout the project to strengthen the role of young people in the Blue Economy.
Edited by L'École de Design Nantes Atlantique, a renowned European institution in innovation and strategic design, the book combines research, practical tools, real-life experiences, and inspiring case studies from Atlantic territories.
The publication highlights how young people can become key drivers of change in coastal and rural communities by fostering entrepreneurship, sustainability, social innovation, and new opportunities linked to marine and maritime sectors.
Among its main contributions, the book presents:
✅ Open innovation methodologies applied to the Blue Economy.
✅ Youth-led initiatives and success stories from partner countries.
✅ Practical tools for educators, youth organizations, and policymakers.
✅ Strategies to strengthen local blue entrepreneurship ecosystems.
✅ Reflections on the future of youth engagement in Atlantic regions.
More than a publication, this book represents the legacy of the ATLIC project and demonstrates that the future of the Blue Economy depends on empowering the next generation with the skills, networks, and opportunities needed to create sustainable and innovative solutions.

The ATLIC Legacy Event will bring together young entrepreneurs, innovators, and changemakers from across the Atlantic Area to showcase their projects, exchange experiences, and discuss the future of their communities at the heart of Europe.
Over two days, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce Delegation to the European Union and the Permanent Representation of Portugal to the European Union (REPER) will host a unique gathering where young people will have the opportunity to engage directly with representatives from some of Europe's most influential institutions.
🌍 The event will feature experts and decision-makers from the European Commission, CINEA, EISMEA, DG MARE, DG REGIO, Eurochambres, the Permanent Representations of Spain and Portugal to the EU, as well as leading organisations working in innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainability, employment, and the Blue Economy.
💡 Young participants will present projects developed in areas such as the Blue Economy, entrepreneurship, innovation, environmental sustainability, social inclusion, and territorial development, demonstrating how the next generation is already driving positive change and helping to build a stronger, more connected Europe.
🤝 Organised by the Santiago de Compostela Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Services and Navigation and Vida Láctea S.L.U., within the framework of the ATLIC – Atlantic Innoblue Communities project, the event aims to strengthen the relationship between young people and European institutions while ensuring that ideas emerging from Atlantic territories contribute to shaping future policies.
🌊 The future of the Atlantic and Europe depends on empowering those ready to lead change. ATLIC Legacy is not only a celebration of achievements, but also a platform for new partnerships, new opportunities, and a shared vision for the future.
