International Women's Day

It took me a while to choose a photo to post here, because I wanted a photo that represented me: designer, art director, friend, daughter…

But it's really hard to talk about what your image represents when you're a woman.

This was my professional profile for many years, where I only posted my work, my routine in montages.

When the pandemic came, I was forced to leave behind everything I had established as solid.

And one of them was my professional profile, hence the three-year hiatus.

Because even I myself didn't know what paths I would like to walk, and where those paths would be, what I still dreamed of living.

This week I completed a year living in Barcelona with a series of very big changes and adaptations and one of them was the decision to unify my account and present myself to the world not only as a designer but as an individual.

And what does this have to do with this sensual photo? ALL.

In a digital world that increasingly points out that we have to humanize brands, that we have to create real connections showing who we are, resume my career on hiatus for so long, and present myself to the world in all nuances without fear of judgment, without fear how much people point out to you and how this could reflect on my career, it was an obstacle that held me back for years.
And I say this because we women experience sexist judgments and the notes of a patriarchal society in our careers in a very cruel way. If a man who has a great career, a solid professional life, goes to parties, has fun and shows it off, he does not have his work discredited, no one doubts his responsibility or his talent as a professional because he has a life outside of work .
But for us women, yes. All the time.
Why did I choose this photo? Because she represents me as a power.

Because I see myself as powerful in her, in the same woman who can be a little princess, who can have an incredible career, who can be sensual, who can be herself.
She can be whoever she wants to be. With no character created for absolutely NOTHING.

Green Room Project 🍀
For this decoration I imagined a predominantly green room. Organic materials gained prominence, including leaves, ceramic vases, trunks and plants.

I wanted the proposal to be as sustainable as possible and to be able to reduce the amount of waste we produce, without losing style and elegance.

Use of strong color contrast with light colors and soft textures

Bar inspired by the Art Decor aesthetic and the glamorous style of the 1920s.

The mirrored bar with straight lines and gold was chosen to enhance the original floor of the house built in the 1940s.

The golden leaves create a geometric atmosphere that makes reference to the style.

Production of scenery for a fashion photo shoot

using dried flowers and leaves to compose the environment.

I was inspired by a more autumnal aesthetic for both the colors and the textures of the leaves I selected.

I really like this smooth aesthetic, color harmony and old movie set magic

Aí como eu queria que fosse em mangueira

Que existisse outro Zé do Caroço

Pra falar de uma vez pra esse moço

Carnaval não é esse colosso
Nossa escola é raiz, é madeira
