How to hand wash delicate fabric bags (raffia + cotton lining)
If your bag can’t go in the machine, this is the safest way to clean it without damaging the shape:
• Mix lukewarm water with a small amount of dish soap + a disinfecting detergent
• Gently scrub with a soft cloth or brush (focus on stains)
• Avoid soaking—especially for raffia
• Wipe clean with a damp cloth to remove soap residue
• Air dry fully, reshaping if needed
Good for keeping structured, mixed-material bags clean without ruining them.
