Styling my desk with a lush long pothos was an easy choice. Usually people put small plants on their desks, but i like to go big to get a bigger effect. Doesn’t it look fabulous ?? 🤩

Propogation is one of the things i LOVE doing. Propagating a plant means taking a cutting that includes a “node” or a few and put it water until these nodes bring out new roots. Then you plant them in soil. Whats interesting about it is seeing all these roots grow, very fulfilling ☺️Note: change the water every 3 to 4 days and plant them when the roots reach somewhere between 5-10 cm long.

Did i ever talk about ferns? Well they’re not the typical beginners’ plant but they could be...They need bright indirect light, they like moist soil, and as all tropical plants they like to be misted. (However i never mist them and they’re fine 😆)

TIP of the day: If you find ants or lady bugs around a plant then there’s a high chance this plant is sick. If you do find something, either get an insecticide or dilute 2 drops of dish soap in a spray bottle and mist the whole plant top to bottom and under the leaves. Try to avoid the soil and do that only at sunset time. Do it twice with a week in between.

See the difference?? I cant stress enough on how important this matter is..By removing the dust off your plants’ leaves you’ll be opening up all its pores and that will definitely help in healthy growth. Also, dirty plants are more prone to pests, and you dont is want that right? 😏
