Our Story
Eko Sound, a professional dubbing studio located in Cairo, Egypt. It was established in 1987, And it was the first multitrack music-recording studio in the Middle East.
In 1994, Eko Sound entered the dubbing industry, and started working with Disney after they were chosen to dub Disney movies into Arabic language (in Egyptian dialect), after a competition with another studio.
The first movie to be dubbed by Eko Sound was Disney's animated hit The Lion King, which was the second Disney movie to be dubbed in Arabic after Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs that was dubbed in 1975.
And it's Arabic dub was done in a high quality that changed the whole standards of the dubbing industry.
The Arabic version of The Lion King was so successful that Disney decided to continue with Eko Sound and start a long-term dubbing contract to dub the rest of their movies and shows in Arabic.
