Rotary Club Cairo Rhein-Nile

A group of members representing the Rotary Club Rhein Nile visited the One-Day Surgery Hospital in El Zaweya El Hamra in response to specific needs to support patients care and enhance the Hospital environment.

As part of this initiative:
• 30 chairs were donated for the family’s patients awaiting treatment.
• 10 Beds were provided for patients in the Outpatient Clinics.

Dr. Radwa Zahran, the Hospital Director, warmly welcomed the initiative and expressed her appreciation for this meaningful support.

This visit reflects our ongoing commitment to serving the community and standing by those in need.

The Rotary Club Cairo Rhein Nile was delighted to host Mrs. Katharina Drucker for an insightful and inspiring lecture on zoo animal care and wildlife management.

Her extensive experience — from Tiergarten Nürnberg to Dubai Safari Park and the Giza Zoo — and her passion for animal welfare offered us a fascinating glimpse into the world of modern zoological work.

I had the honor of attending the meeting of Rotary Club of Wiesbaden / Germany where I presented our Rotary Club Cairo Rhein Nile.
The discussion also focused on potential areas of cooperation between Rotary Egypt & the Rotary Club of Wiesbaden.

RC Cairo Rhein Nile begleitete die rotarischen Besucher aus München RC Fürstenfeldbruck

Die Mitglieder hatten bereits mehrere Besichtigungen getätigt und waren positiv überrascht und begeistert über die Fülle an historischen Stätten und besonders über die Herzlichkeit der Ägypter.

Wir hatten bereits mit diesem Klub zusammengearbeitet für ein Projekt in einer Blindenschule in Mohandessin.

Der Klub versicherte uns, daß wir weiterhin an ähnlichen Projekten gemeinsam arbeiten werden.

We spoke to her about projects for orphans and Senior's homes according to European standards. We discussed the possibilities of cooperation with the Ministry of Social Solidarity and our Rotary Club.

We had the honor of hosting H.E. George Pöstinger, the Austrian Ambassador to Egypt, at the Marriott Hotel, as a distinguished speaker in an interactive session

Ambassador Pöstinger shared valuable insights into the rich and evolving relationship between Egypt and Austria across various fields.

His perspectives on collaboration and partnership were both inspiring and enlightening.

We are proud to announce that he was appointed as an honorary member of our Rotary Club Cairo Rhein Nile , a testament to our commitment to fostering international friendships and cooperation.
