Urgent: Husky Dies During Facebook Live in Egypt - A Call for Justice 💔

I am from Egypt, and I write to you with deep and urgent sadness regarding a horrific and brutal incident that recently occurred in Egypt.

A husky, believed to be lost or abandoned, was found wandering the streets, looking scared and confused. When someone tried to approach it aggressively, the dog bit them most likely out of fear. Instead of showing compassion or calling a specialized rescue center, they tied the dog to a post and violently beat it.

They then called a man claiming to be a veterinarian Dr. Hamdy Hagagwho administered a lethal injection to the dog, causing its cruel and inhumane death. The entire incident was broadcast live on Facebook without any shame or remorse.

This is not an ordinary case or one specific to any particular country.

This case concerns the entire world because it is about humanity and compassion.

This dog was killed by a man named Hamdi Hagag, who is unfortunately a veterinarian in the Mahalla al-Kubra area of ​​Egypt.

It turns out that this man is wearing a doctor's robe, but he is a murderer, and this is not the first time.

It turns out that he is responsible for dog massacres. He also kills, burns, and poisons dogs with long banned internationally.

We are working hard to implement a real law to protect animal rights in Egypt.

What is happening in veterinary colleges in Egypt is an unbearable tragedy. Thousands of animals are subjected to severe abuse in the name of education and training. Healthy animals have their bones broken, and invasive procedures are practiced on them while they are still alive, with no compassion or mercy. They are dissected while fully conscious, enduring unimaginable pain. Animals are injected with formalin while alive, only to be cut open later for dissection. Even donkeys are not spared—they are electrocuted in attempts to teach students basic first aid.

This is not medical training; it’s systematic cruelty towards animals under the guise of science and compassion. We need urgent reform and the implementation of strict regulations to protect these innocent creatures. True learning should never come at the cost of the weakest lives
