-The physiology and key characteristics of microorganisms
-Routes of contamination

▫️Microbiological Methods: How-to Guidance on:

-Sampling
-Isolation and enumeration (counting)
-Identification (how and when to identify microorganisms)
-Importance of culture media in microbiological testing and how to perform growth promotion test.
-Microbiological tests required for both sterile and non-sterile products (Compendial and non-compendial methods.
-water for pharmaceutical use (Microbiological attributes, control strategy and analysis).
-Tests for sterility and preservative efficacy
-Endotoxin Test
-Rapid (non-culturable) methods
-Environmental Monitoring methods
-Validation of Microbial methods & case studies
-Verification of vendor's COA for the microbiological supplies.
-Water system qualification and monitoring.
-Classification of air cleanliness and qualification of clean rooms and controlled environments.

مش بس كدة هو كمان قسم الالات الجراحية الي :
1-critical : واللي بيشمل
high risk items for infection
لازم يحصلها sterilisation.

2-semi critical : وده بيتضمن ال items with
contact mucous membranes or no intact skin.
ودي بتتطلب
high-level disinfection using chemical disinfectants.

3- noncritical : وده بيتضمن كل ال items
Which in contact with intact skin but not mucous membranes

معظم ال items دي يُفضل أن يحصلها
decontamination where they are used and do not need to be transported to a central processing area.
