The World Academy of Sciences Arab Regional Partner (TWAS-AREP) and the Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP) at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina are pleased to invite young researchers, academics, and scientific leaders to register for the upcoming regional hybrid workshop: "Shaping the Future of Science and Research in the Arab Region: AI, Emerging Technologies, and Open Science". Organized under the umbrella of the Young Scientists Training Program (YSTP), this three-day workshop serves as a premier platform to build capacity, enhance technical skills, and foster regional scientific collaboration.
Participants will engage in interactive sessions and expert-led discussions covering:
• Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence for interdisciplinary research.
• Principles of Open Science, scientific integrity, and responsible AI practices.
• Effective academic skills and research workflows in the digital age.
• Applications of emerging technologies in Climate Change, Water Resources, Energy, and Drug Discovery.

Eligibility Criteria:
• The age of applicants must not exceed 40 years.
• Master/PhD students and PhD holders in life and natural sciences fields, living/working in one of the developing countries- excluding refugee or displaced scientists.
• Women scientists and Refugees and/or displaced scientists living in any country are highly encouraged to apply.
