This year’s internship season is pretty much a wrap! But before it came to an end, we managed to catch Kristina and ask her to share a few thoughts about her experience with us.

Every year, we open up to 10 internship positions across teams where students can make a real contribution, solve real-world challenges, and truly feel like part of the team.

Some roles are hard to fill because they're competitive.

Others are hard because almost nobody knows the profession exists.

👉We're hiring a Project Security Officer at Milrem Robotics, and this is one of those roles.

This isn't a career you study for. It's a highly specialised field that has only recently emerged as a distinct profession. The person joining us will help shape how classified and restricted information is managed across our international and EU-funded defence projects.

We're looking for someone who can combine rigorous security compliance with strong collaboration. Someone who can confidently uphold security requirements while working closely with project teams, international partners, and government authorities.

This role could be a great fit if you have:
• Hands-on experience working with EU RESTRICTED information (this is essential)
• Experience managing classified or restricted information throughout its lifecycle
• Strong attention to detail and documentation
• Confidence working with international stakeholders and authorities
• The ability to balance firmness with diplomacy

The role is based in Tallinn, Estonia, requires Estonian citizenship, and regular on-site presence due to the nature of the work.

Meet Kris, one of our interns from last year.

He first heard about Milrem Robotics through the news and later attended one of our career days. What stood out? A place where both the development and production of advanced unmanned ground vehicles happen under the same roof.

During his internship, Kris started with smaller tasks but soon moved on to projects that had a real impact on the team. He enjoyed the experience so much that he decided to stay with Milrem Robotics after the internship.
