The Estonian Song and Dance Festival celebrates culture, unity, and tradition. We are so very proud of our colleagues who participated in this special event and helped carry forward a tradition that connects generations of Estonians.

Proudly dancing among thousands of others were Kersti Kriisa, Urmas Nõgu, and Kert Sepp. Triinu Liis Junna joined the celebration on the Song Festival stage. 🎶

Kersti says: "I’m deeply honoured to have been part of the Dance Festival – an experience that’s hard to put into words. It was humbling, fulfilling, and overwhelmingly joyful all at once."

Celebrating Raivo Vilu's 80th birthday! 🎂 Today, we honour a true pioneer whose innovative spirit laid the groundwork for Proekspert.

From starting one of Estonia's first startups in a basement during the eighties to shaping industries with his biotechnology and food technology ventures, Raivo has left an indelible mark on both Proekspert and the Estonian scientific community.

🏅 His contributions have earned him the prestigious Order of the White Star, recognizing his impact on our nation. His knowledge of the business world and cleverness are forces to be reckoned with!

💬 Author Sass Henno once remarked, "Raivo Vilu is a cool man." As we look back on his path so far, we are reminded of the light he continues to cast on future innovators.

We have been discussing the imminent arrival of the Cyber Resilience Act for more than two years, and a few days ago it was officially published as Regulation (EU) 2024/2847.
This is a remarkable milestone in product security, marking the world's first regulation of its kind. In simple terms: if you're involved in manufacturing, importing, or reselling products with digital components, the CRA is going to affect you—compliance is imperative!
The CRA aims to unify cybersecurity rules across the EU market, serving as the CE marking for digital products. It covers a wide array of software and hardware products connected to the internet (either directly or indirectly).
Yesterday, our very own CRA expert, Terry London, shared his experience applying CRA for industrial devices at the seminar organized by the ITL Estonian ICT Cluster.

This Monday, our office was buzzing with the presence of IT entrepreneurs and the ICT Cortex association from Montenegro.

Their visit, partly a study trip to explore Estonia's thriving tech scene, provided a fantastic opportunity for mutual learning and sharing our best practices.

Discussing mental health and employee well-being topics together with Tallinn University! 💭

Our CEO, Triin Sepp, joined experts to discuss the impact of global megatrends on employee well-being. This session underscored how vital education institutions are in aiding companies to promote a healthy work environment.

The discussion, "Behind Every Company Are People—How Does Employee Health and Well-being Create Value?" was enlightening and highlighted the crucial collaboration between academia and industry. Big thanks to Tallinn University and all participants for a thought-provoking conversation!
