First Position Join us in our adult beginner ballet class, designed especially for those wanting to learn the basics of ballet, exercise their bodies and minds in a unique and beautiful way, and of course, have fun.

Hey dancers, it’s Francesco!! ☀️ I hope you are having a fantastic summer and have enjoyed the classes with Christina. There’s been some good feedback, and we are aiming to have her during this year as well!!😎

I mentioned to you before that I would love to do a summer intensive workshop for you, if you are up for it. The summer intensive would be before we start our classes in September, and would be run over 4 consecutive days. I’m thinking either 16/17/18/19 or 23/24/25/26 or 30/31/1/2 (Friday to Monday).
There would be a 2-hour class each day, so we can also include the stretching/ injury prevention session.

The first hour each class recaps what we did throughout year and try to solve the doubts that you might have with the steps.
In the second hour I would teach you a variation from the repertoire. Translated from the ballet language it means that you will learn a solo from a ballet (which I have already in mind). This will be your opportunity to actually study soloist material, so you can try out how it feels and perhaps have something to show your ballet skills outside the class to others 💃 😍

In two of the evenings (Saturday and Sunday) there will be a third hour, which you can choose to stay at the theater and watch a full length Ballet movie (which we can choose together). I can explain you the story and the pantomime parts of the ballet - you can enhance your understanding of ballet, learn a new skill which we can try out together, and of course it’s interactive so you can ask me questions. In this way you can understand the story better and for example know what the pantomime says.
