Ride straight into the heart of the Andes. 🏔️🐎
Our Andean Adventure Ride is an exhilarating journey through volcanic landscapes that feel almost otherworldly. We first cross fertile farmlands where we regularly encounter local indigenous people wearing their colorful traditional dresses. Riding here we take our time to explore the northern valleys close to beautiful Cayambe, the countries second highest volcano. For the second part of this remarkable ride we head over to Cotopaxi National Park, where we ride through wide grassy plains, lava flows and wetlands, heading deep into the remote, rarely visited valleys hidden behind the perfectly conical, snow-capped Cotopaxi volcano.

This is a ride of contrast and variety, both in pace and terrain, designed for riders who love long days in the saddle and landscapes that constantly change.

At night, you’ll stay in a beautiful mix of haciendas, mountain inns and isolated farmhouses, built from traditional adobe, thatched roofs and ancient Inca stone.

Ride through the lush, rolling hills of the Zuleta Valley (first 8 photos and videos), where local indigenous women in their traditional dress are often part of the landscape as they go about their daily lives. Then venture into the vast volcanic wilderness of Cotopaxi National Park (last 3 photos and videos), where wild horses roam freely, there are no fences, and you can ride for hours without seeing another tourist.
