At Procigar Night Punta Cana, a collection of exquisite experiences came together for those who understand that true luxury lives in craftsmanship, presence, and soul.

For the second consecutive year, METIER had the honor of sponsoring an evening where connoisseurs gathered to celebrate the art of slowing down, sharing unforgettable moments in communion with what unites us all: the beauty of the present moment.

Much like a hand-rolled cigar, a handwoven hat carries the imprint of human touch, tradition, patience, and time. Neither can be rushed. Neither can be replicated by machines without losing their essence. They are objects infused with story, culture, and ritual.

In many ways, ci**rs and handmade hats speak the same language. Both are born from the earth, shaped by the hands of artisans, and created for those who know how to appreciate nuance, detail, and authenticity.

Marking the canvas with the imprint of a handwoven hat to leave an eternal mark that paints a picture as unique as the weave of the hat itself.

This technique, developed by Alessandro, which he has named “Hat on Canvas”can now be admired in our atelier in as a display of a 6 piece series of paintings that are composed of both, hat and canvas.

This is a reference and tribute to the very fact that allowed to declare these hats a recognizing the handweaving technique of these hats as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity 🙌🏼
