With a packed old Saab and a Wurlitzer in the back seat, I set off for Amsterdam in 22 – a journey into the unknown from which my new album eventually emerged.
It is happening 🫠 ,Woman & I’ will be out end of May.
Yup this May - in two months ❤️🔥🫠
(with it I’m also reclaiming my stage name 🧚🏼)
,Woman & I’ began as a quiet need to find my own voice after years of singing stories shaped by others.
I started writing without a plan—just as a way of showing up for myself. The songs took shape between Wels, Vienna, Amsterdam, and The Hague, in times of uncertainty and transition. Some were written in unfamiliar rooms, others somewhere between leaving and arriving.
But before I completely dive in ~ I‘d like to take a moment to thank everyone involved for their support, unique talents and pouring their hearts & energies into it.

It‘s Jan 31 - Happy Birthday dear Schubert 🤍more than 10 years ago I encountered my first three songs of ‚Winterreise‘ - Einsamkeit, Wegweiser and the one I’m singing Lindentree ❄️I‘m telling you it‘s some sort of musical alchemy - once these melodies find a way into your heart - they‘ll change you from the inside out 🤍

One of the first songs I wrote after more than 10 years of singing lieder 🫠🙃 wrote it in the midst of many endings, played it alone in an empty apartment and on stage with friends ~ a miracle to me how music travels thru time & space 🙃🫧posted the full on stage version from on youtube 💞
