The Entrepreneurial Brains Made on Campus (EBMC) are back! 😍This November, students from five European universities are working digitally every Friday in international teams to develop ideas against social injustice.
On 27 November you will have the chance to hear these ideas at the big online final! Besides a jury prize there will also be an audience award, so be there and vote for your favourite 🏆

The EBMC 2020 has started! 30 students from Birmingham City University, Budapesti Metropolitan Egyetem, WSB University - International Relations Office JKU - Johannes Kepler Universität Linz and the Hochschule der Medien took part in the kick-off today and got to know their team members. As you can see: It has worked!

The Entrepreneurial Brains Made on Campus (EBMC) are back, THE idea competition of the Hochschule der Medien and its international friends. Every Friday this November, students from universities in all over Europe will once again work in international teams – completely online – to create ideas for new companies and initiatives that will alleviate or, ideally, eliminate social injustice. On 6 November the event will start! Bachelor students of the HdM can earn 2 ECTS by participating and - what is much more important - gain valuable experience in an international team, learn and apply Design Thinking methods, pick up a great certificate for their application documents and do something really good! There are only five places available for HdM students. Are you interested? Then apply now with a short letter of motivation to [email protected]. Application deadline is 28 October 2020!

Magdalena Weinle sorgt - wie alle Kolleginnen und Kollegen im Start-up Center - auch vom Home Office aus dafür, dass Gründerinnen und Gründer in dieser schwierigen Situation nicht den Mut verlieren. "Auf der Agenda stehen momentan Onlineberatungen, die Virtualisierung unserer Lehrangebote und jede Menge Serviceartikel für Start-ups, speziell aus der jetzt besonders stark betroffenen Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft."
Sie schätze derzeit sehr die tägliche Videokonferenz mit ihren Kolleginnen und Kollegen: "Tatsächlich sehen wir uns jetzt öfter denn je – bald hoffentlich auch wieder in der Nobelstraße 5."

Als Beauftragte für Chancengleichheit gibt sie diese Botschaft mit auf den Weg: "Der Ökonom Peter Drucker erklärte einst 'das Unerwartete' als Quelle für Innovationen. Das Unerwartete ist eingetreten. jetzt müssen die Innovationen in der Arbeitswelt her. Bleiben wir zuversichtlich, solidarisch und gesund."
