Erfolgreich haben drei Experten über sechs Monate hinweg die Lieferung von Medikamenten per Drohne auf eine Insel im Viktoriasee erprobt. Die Medizinversorgung entlegener Gebiete mit Hilfe von Drohnen revolutionieren - das Pilotprojekt "Deliver Future" beweist, dass dies keine Zukunftsmusik ist. Möglich machen das Projekt drei Experten auf ihrem Gebiet: DHL, die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH im Auftrag des Bundesentwicklungsministeriums (BMZ) und der deutsche Drohnenhersteller Wingcopter. Erfolgreich haben sie über sechs Monate hinweg die Lieferung von Medikamenten per Drohne auf eine Insel im Viktoriasee erprobt. Der selbständig fliegende "DHL Paketkopter 4.0" schaffte dabei die 60 km Flugstrecke vom Festland bis zur Insel in durchschnittlich 40 Minuten. Insgesamt wurden in dem Pilotprojekt mehr als 2.200 km geflogen und rund 2.000 Flugminuten geleistet.

Universal MATE-N-LOK connectors utilize a combination of pins and sockets intermixed in the plug and cap housings to achieve excellent electrical performance in a .250 [6.35] pitch design. Rated to 600VAC/VDC and 19A, these offer wire-to-wire, wire-to-panel, and wire-to-board configurations. Housings feature positive polarization, positive locking, and rear cavity identification for easy, error resistant assembly. Contacts are enclosed in the housings and are removable for system flexibility.

TE Connectivity's Positive Lock receptacles facilitate assembly and secure retention to mating tabs, which significantly reduces the risk of terminal backout.
