Have a great Sunday, everybody!

I AM HAAAANGRY!!!

(Yes, I always make sure, they look their best.)

Disclaimer: No dog was high in the making of this image.

Here's the happiest of all happy Aussies for you. Humboldt is his name. Humboldt doesn’t care about how much money is in your bank account, or whether you made a mistake at work today. He doesn't notice if you're awkward, anxious, or wearing your hair in a messy tangle. When you walk through the door, he doesn't look at your past or judge your flaws. Humboldt simply sees exciting people.

Today I learnt that "myötähäpeä" is the Finnish word for "second-hand embarrassment" or (in German) "Fremdschämen". Have a great Monday, everybody.

End of random information.

The King of Pose visited me in my studio. Gimli is his name. Too cool to be true.

For this session we drove Gimli up the wall. ;-)

Have a great start to the weekend, everybody!!

A little bit of advertisement. For the Unleashed Pet Photography Education Platform I did a video about this topic. Being a member gives you access to a ton-load of information about pet photography.

Here's a quick look at one of my personal projects. It doesn't have anything to do with colorful studio images, but focuses instead on black and white, moody, and grainy pictures, all done in camera without editing. The wonderful Bloom is the perfect model for this. Experiments like these are actually what made me fall in love with photography and what I started out with. You will see more of this style, as I plan to share more of my personal work here in the future. I have worked as a professional photographer for 15 years now, but I always make sure to still pursue photography as a hobby. Personal projects are so important for staying motivated and trying out things without a commercial goal in mind. It is all about enjoying photography for what it is: an endless playground for being creative.
