Update on the three juveniles that I got last year at Terraristika Hamm. ☺️
They are growing and looking prettier every shed. ❤️

Three very pretty babies came home with me this weekend, one from from Hot Hogs and two from Lasse Carlsen.
Terraristika Hamm was a full succes for me.
And sure enough I'll post some better pictures at my Instagram page soon. 😉

My Frosted Conda boy is doing great in brumation.
Today I've checked on him and couldn't resist to take a fast smartphone picture.
I've been thinking long about a good name for him, but always kept coming back to my first idea, so I decided to return a honor, choosing the name "Brand" for him, from Brandon Melone ( ).
He's a huge fan of the Frosted Morph Combo and after finding out that I love Sable, he named his Sable girl from after me.
It feels just very right to do the same. ☺️

Axanthic Conda Judy on a treasure hunt.
She heard about magic creatures hiding their gold, valuable stones, silver and other objects of desire between giant flowers.
She wants to become the richest snake of all!

I should have called her Smaug, but beside her gender, her pink piggy tail just ruined the feeling of fire & fierce.

Never thought I might have to choose between a lot of nice pictures after this shooting, cause my hysterical tubifex didn't proof out as a good model until now - but here I am, unable to decide between Axanthic Conda pic, Axanthic Conda pic, Axanthic Conda pic aaaaand Axanthic Conda pic + 5 more of those.
Thankfully hognose_heaven was able to help out and make me choose the best. 😂

It's not even a year ago that I started doing my research on hognose snakes. To be honest, it all startet with a giant lizard that I found and had to find a home for... A friend mentioned one of his friends to help me, that friend tried to make me keep it (and failed) but somehow he ended up telling and teaching me a lot about hognose snakes (kind of against my will at first), the basics of genetics and I ended up getting interested. I have no idea how he did it, I always thought snakes are boring, but he was successful and ended up being a great teacher and friend.
I feel the change coming.
So I've set myself the goal to stay with hoggies - forever. No other snakes.

However, it's not like I left the forest of confusion, yet, and I guess I won't ever be able to... But I've got a compass and the idea of the right direction. 😆
It's kind of fun doing all the research and I just can't wait to see the results of this. 🥰

Feeding day is always something special for me.
Sadly, after Judy had her first shed in this household, both seem to have lost appetite. 🙄
Hubert wasn't very calm and didn't eat anything, while Judy was a bit picky while slowly and angrily swallowing two extra small pinkies. 🤦‍♀️
My hope is, that Hubert just also wants to shed and is going back to normal and easy very soon. 😬
