Yellow Fleet bewegt sich zwischen modernem Jazz, Improvisation und zeitgenössischen Klanglandschaften. Christoph Kuntner, Benjamin Lampert und Max Schrott entwickeln im intuitiven Zusammenspiel einen eigenständigen Sound voller Dynamik, Atmosphäre und überraschender Wendungen. Im aktuellen Programm verbindet das Trio Musik des Debütalbums „Stranded“ mit neuen Kompositionen des Albums „Immersed“.

Yellow Fleet moves between modern jazz, improvisation and contemporary soundscapes. Christoph Kuntner, Benjamin Lampert and Max Schrott create a distinctive sound shaped by intuitive interplay, dynamics, atmosphere and unexpected turns. Their current programme combines music from their debut album “Stranded” with new compositions from the album “Immersed”.

IVO – Improvisation von Originalen – macht seinem Namen alle Ehre: Eigenkompositionen zwischen melancholischen Balladen, Straight-ahead-Jazz und tanzbaren Grooves bilden die Grundlage für das Zusammenspiel des jungen Dresdner Quintetts. Für einen Teil des Programms wird IVO von Sängerin ROS4NNA ergänzt.

IVO – Improvisation of Originals – lives up to its name: original compositions ranging from melancholic ballads and straight-ahead jazz to danceable grooves provide the basis for the young Dresden quintet’s interplay. Vocalist ROS4NNA joins the band for part of the program.

Das Bokani Dyer Trio verbindet modernen Afro-Jazz mit swingendem Post-Bop und rhythmischen Grooves. Im Mittelpunkt stehen das Klavierspiel des Pianisten und Komponisten Bokani Dyer sowie das enge Zusammenspiel des Trios, das live viel Raum für Improvisation lässt.

The Bokani Dyer Trio combines modern Afro-jazz with swinging post-bop and rhythmic grooves. Pianist and composer Bokani Dyer’s playing is central to the trio’s sound, with close ensemble interplay leaving plenty of room for improvisation in live performance.

Timur Valitov Quartett

Das Timur Valitov Quartett verbindet melodischen modernen Jazz mit Einflüssen aus Valitovs musikalischer Heimat. Ausdrucksstarke Saxofonlinien, lyrische Passagen und offene Improvisation prägen den vielschichtigen Bandsound.

The Timur Valitov Quartet combines melodic modern jazz with influences from Valitov’s musical roots. Expressive saxophone lines, lyrical passages and open improvisation shape the band’s dynamic sound.

Myrsini Bekakou Quartet

Das Myrsini Bekakou Quartet verbindet griechische Rhythmen und Melodien mit Improvisation und modaler Jazzsprache. Im Zentrum steht Bekakous Violine, eingebettet in einen beweglichen Ensemblesound zwischen klaren Strukturen und freiem Zusammenspiel.

The Myrsini Bekakou Quartet combines Greek rhythms and melodies with improvisation and modal jazz. Bekakou’s violin is at the centre of a flexible ensemble sound balancing clear structures with open interplay.

Feingliedrige Kammermusik trifft auf mitreißenden Groove: Das Paul Bernewitz Trio verbindet atmosphärische Eigenkompositionen mit lyrischen Passagen, kantigen Momenten und viel Raum für Improvisation.

Fine chamber music meets infectious groove: The Paul Bernewitz Trio combines atmospheric original compositions with lyrical passages, edgy moments and plenty of space for improvisation.
