I’ve been playing with the idea of setting up my studio like this for a long time. But somehow I kept getting distracted by images of regular studio setups, where everything feels strangely static to me, lined up on shelves. Now it’s just the wiring left. After many weeks of preparation, things are finally starting to get real.

And by the way: if anyone has an ironing board lying around that they don’t need anymore – I’ll gladly take it. I find it incredibly practical. My fingers are very sensitive, and all that screwing heavy stands up and down… they really don’t like that.

Today, I rather feel a need to reflect on the behavior of us, humankind. Never before have I been so consciously a woman in this universe as this year. I desperately need another view. Just for a sec. I'd like to see what it would feel like if women were in charge. Just for a sec.

One thing became very clear to me: we really need to get into action with everything that’s going on in the world of prejudices and what comes out of it. We need to educate ourselves about cultural differences more than ever before — traveling, reading, or having the courage to talk and ask questions to your friends, many of whom have a foreign background. What’s really bothering them in daily life? How can we make them feel safe to be honest, to say things that could make us uncomfortable?

We should travel and exchange intensively already when we’re very young. We should be included in political actions at a very early stage. Give young people more responsibility, more being part of a bigger picture. Take children to work, to the theatre, to a party; give them the chance to be a part of your life.

Let’s question our actions towards each other, not our personalities. Let’s question rules in general, not only be ashamed of something we could have done wrong. And let’s not let shame or discomfort be bigger than the trust needed to get better at it.
Mostly, racism is hidden in the little things, in prejudices. Let’s mingle societies; let’s invite our post deliverer to a party or your kind neighbor from downstairs. Let’s change our own beliefs. Just like that.

Looking forward to seeing you soon — all of you. Never be too shy to ask me anything — whether it’s playing a show in your living room or giving you free entrance to one of my concerts. Please, just do so. Hope there will be plenty of it next year.

And always: Have courage. Be wild. Question yourself.

When?
December 2025 & January & February 2026

Possible goals of the session
* Quite simply: a special recording as a gift – a high-quality version of your favourite song, perfect for Christmas, birthdays, or other occasions
* Use my expertise as a singer, producer, and vocal coach to bring out the best in your voice
* Gain practical understanding of microphone setup, recording techniques, and music production
* Creative realisation of your own ideas in a trusting and safe environment
* Step-by-step guidance
* Get to know your own voice: discover nuances, tone colours, and expressive possibilities
* Reflective support: feedback on your strengths and learning what you already do well
* Mental support: understand the process and stay focused on your goal
* Exchange about the impact of emotions and personality on a vocal recording

Preparation & process:
* Up to 1 hour of preparatory session: preparing sheet music, creating a playback if needed
* 2 hours of recording on the day: vocal warm-up, headphones, microphone, professional vocal tips, creative interpretation, multiple takes
* Post-production: 1–2 hours of editing & mixing
* Delivery as WAV and MP3 file by email by December 22nd (provided the recording took place on or before December 18th)

Where?

In the end, it’s all about the ears —
and what they like to listen to.
That’s what I’ve learned lately, again.
Isn’t that what matters in everything —
to really listen,
to try to respect the personality of a person,
of a sound?
Where do we feel drawn to?
Is that instinct, or knowledge, or experience?
What do we long for?
That’s my focus.
I’ve been microfoning my piano over the last few days — experimenting with different microphones, tunings, running through the city, visiting people’s homes, testing other pianos, and so on.
It’s still a process,
but when my ears finally find the right spot for the microphones —
that’s when my hands start to play something
that means something,
at least to me.
Before that, everything sounds useless.
Here are some frames from that moment.
I’m still in some kind of tunnel these days,
and it’s taking as long as it takes.
I’m so looking forward to sharing new music with you soon 🩸
I’d love it to mean something to more than just me, -
especially these days.

Honestly, I really love this peaceful, quiet place. Being back in my studio means a lot to me – four walls of calm and a beautiful playground to explore. So worth these days.

After so many years of working completely independently – like booking 24 shows for the release tour of my debut album all by myself over the past year and a half, going on tour mostly alone, being a mom to my now 4-year-old daughter (and sometimes taking her with me), loving it, making all decisions on my own, not knowing any real structures of the music business – except working with booking agencies – being exhausted, and still never giving up on finding the right people to work with long-term. .. It really feels like something beautiful to enter another stage of being an artist🩸

And for those who didn’t know: I also compose for film, theatre, or any weird art performance you can think of!
