Over the weekend, the far right Identitären-movement (the new neo-nazis) marched in Vienna with forbidden symbols, chanting racist slogans and igniting smoke bombs, while the police shook hands with their notorious leader Martin Sellner, then proceeded to detain 56 counter-protesters and file a further 200 complaints against counter-protesting individuals who sat on the ground to block the route of the far-right demo.

In a separate incident, the police swarmed over an anti-fascist educational camp with ca. 60 participants - mostly students - with 30 ARMED OFFICERS, POLICE DOGS, DRONES AND A HELICOPTER. This happened at the historic Peršman site, where 11 civilians - Carinthian Slovenes - were killed by SS-police during the final days of WWII. The organisers of the camp were accused of minor administrative offenses. Amongst the participants were direct descendants of the civilians killed in 1945.

Get a grip, Israel & world community. STOP THIS MADNESS!
This is but one of the countless incidents where unarmed, starving civilians were shot at by Israeli forces while trying to get food.
From the WFP-statement:
On 20 July, a 25 truck WFP convoy carrying desperately needed food supplies entered Gaza.
As the convoy approached a large civilian crowd, the convoy and the civilians came under fire from Israeli tanks, snipers and other gunfire, resulting in the loss of countless lives. Many more suffered life-threatening injuries. These people were simply trying to access food to feed themselves and their families on the brink of starvation. This terrible incident comes despite assurances from Israeli authorities that humanitarian operational conditions would improve; including that armed forces will not be present nor engage at any stage along humanitarian convoy routes. 
Gaza’s hunger crisis has reached new levels of desperation. People are dying from lack of humanitarian assistance. Malnutrition is surging with 90,000 women and children in urgent need of treatment. Nearly one person in three is not eating for days. 
Only a massive scale-up in food aid distributions can stabilize this spiraling situation, calm anxieties and rebuild the trust within communities that more food is coming.
An agreed ceasefire is long overdue. All hostages should be released, and humanitarians should be able to reach the civilian population in Gaza with critical food supplies in a consistent, predictable, orderly and safe manner -- wherever they are across the Gaza Strip. 
We urgently call on the international community and all parties to advocate for, and facilitate, the delivery of life-saving food aid to starving populations inside Gaza – safely, securely, wherever families are, and without obstruction.

It's here! Yesterday I received my very own printed copy of Plectrum magazine, which gave "Bones'n'Stones" a whole-page feature. Thank you again, ! I've only had a chance to leaf through it today. It is such a beautiful and rare treat to actually hold a physical magazine (yes, that thing that's made of paper!) in my hands. I can't wait to check out other underground artists featured like

On a personal level, so many things have been going on in my life recently, I don't even know where to start. I've embarked on a full-time course in music therapy, which will last two years. I love it and I'm learning so many new, wonderful things. It also covers all the basics of general creative therapy, including art and dance. Plus we're learning about all the mental and behavioural disorders people can be inflicted with. So my daily schedule is filled with seminars, workshops, project work galore. It can be a little overwhelming at times but I've met so many new and kind people, we're building a true community of like-minded and interested people.
This has really helped me in dealing with some sad stuff that marked the first quarter of this year.
As I write this, I'm travelling to visit my parents in Austria. They both suffer from dementia and have been moved to an old folks' home earlier this year.
To gradually notice that you're losing control of your own life must be the most horrible of experiences. And dementia means, each day the same struggle starts again.
I'm a bag of mixed emotions right now: joyful anticipation, compassion, worry, sadness, guilt.
I know they will be very happy to see me though. Love ya, mum & dad xx

I truly appreciate when music aficionados take the time to listen to an entire album and put in the effort of sharing their own thoughts on multiple tracks, describe the overall feel as they percieve it, add their genre boxes and select their own key tracks. described the album's mood as 'Uncompromising, Introspective, Majestic, Evokative, Defiant' and was reminded of Björk, Kate Bush, Radiohead and PJ Harvey. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart! 💜💜
