Hemagon

Today, we’re introducing another interface update regarding the application limit and waiting list.
When creating a category, you can set a maximum size and now all participants whose applications exceed that limit will automatically be marked as on the "waiting list."

Dear friends, let us to announce an important update: we’ve added the option to revoke your tournament application.
Previously, only tournament organizers could cancel applications, but now you can do it yourself if you change your mind or accidentally select the wrong category.
It might seem like a small feature, but Hemagon is steadily gaining many minor yet essential options that were long overdue.

Have you noticed how the profile pages changed?
Formerly all the information was spread all over the page: everything seemingly presents, but somehow unobvious.
Now all the basic stats and the regalia are concentrated in one place, you can see them immediately when the page is opened.
This profile looks much more informative, just open and see.
By the way, if you think that some of your stats are missing - let us know, we'll find the loss!

how was it? Take a look!

BOHEMA: First Harvest. Longsword tournament With the help of our friends from and we were able to make the largest B-tier (beginners and regular) tournament. T...

Hello! We have a very important HEMAGON question: Do you want us to offer an option for applicants to pay for the event with a card?

We can do this using Stripe. As the organizer, you would pay 1.5% per transaction plus €0.25 for each application.

For example, in BOHEMA: First Harvest, we received 72 payments totaling €4,060.

This means we would pay €78.30 to Stripe from the tournament budget while saving a lot of time through automation. Additionally, fencers would be able to process refunds automatically if needed.

Do you want this feature?

P.S. Stripe has slightly different pricing for different countries, but the differences aren’t significant.

Dear friends, do you remember our article "A Tournament in Your Pocket"? In it, we discussed our new technologies and proudly claimed that you could run a tournament with just a phone in your hand.

Well, that claim has become a reality. Last week, a fantastic tournament was held in Serbia: https://www.facebook.com/events/1008606300516677, and the organizers used Hemagon to manage the fights. The event took place in an old fortress, a truly amazing location, though it came with its own challenges. Due to issues with power cables, there was no way to use a screen or laptop.

As you've probably guessed, the entire tournament was managed on a cellphone: all the scores, fight schedules, and more were handled with just a few clicks. This is the future we described, the future we dreamed of and worked tirelessly towards.
We made it.
