Shell patterns, 1978.

"Shell impressions are fascinating due to their natural geometry, often displaying symmetrical patterns or spiral shapes that follow mathematical principles like the logarithmic spiral. These structures are both aesthetically pleasing and scientifically valuable. Fossil shell impressions form when shells are embedded in soft sediment that later hardens into rock, leaving behind detailed imprints of the shell's surface.

They offer insights into the past, helping geologists date rock layers and reconstruct ancient climates and ecosystems. The fine details of the impressions, such as ridges and grooves, reveal information about the shell species and environmental conditions, making them an intriguing window into Earth's history.

Již 12. července v rámci výstavy Poslední muzeum? v Letohrádku Hvězda. Pod vedením grafické designérky Barbory Cekotové se zaměříme na výuku a procvičování několika stylů písma, která vycházejí z tradičních vzorů, ale jsou upravena pro dnešní dobu. Pozornost budeme věnovat také rozvoji vlastního rukopisu.
Vstup je zdarma včetně prohlídky výstavy.
