Vlček / Wolfie will be featured on this fantastic film festival for children and young audience in a German premiere!

Wolfie will screen in the International Animated Short Film Competition of SCHLiNGEL during the programme part “Neighbourhood“ for kids & families (5+) on 28. 09., 15:30 at CineStar Cinema Chemnitz!

‼️ I Died in Irpin is nominated for a prestigeous Emile Award in the category Best of the Best in short film. Only five works were nominated – amonge them Oscar nominees Wander to Wonder and Beautiful Men!

Emile Awards 2025 Ceremony will be held on Sunday, November 16 during Black Nights Film Festival in Tallinn.

Meet the 2025 Student Academy Awards Finalist - Vlček / Wolfie is one of them! 😍

We are incredibly proud and delighted that Vlček / Wolfie, a powerful animated short by the talented young director Philippe Kastner from Katedra animace FAMU and distributed by our company Cinefila, has advanced to the final round of the Academy Gold /Student Academy Awards, so called Student Oscars! 😍🥳

The competition this year was truly immense — with a record 3,127 films submitted, only 28 have moved forward to the final list. That places Vlček in the top 2% of all submissions, an extraordinary achievement for a student film.

Congratulations to Philippe and the entire team behind this beautiful and moving work!
