IPS

Spring event provided us an oportunity to “see” a world from a different perspective. We visited an unique exhibition called "Invisible" where we took a one hour tour in complete darkness, had a drink on "dark bar" and overall checked out how sharp our other senses are. Beside that we tried to play some board games a bit and finished our company event with delicious dinner after all. We enjoyed it a lot and are already looking forward to the next one which will come soon 🙂!

IPS is delighted to announce that we have expanded our activities in Vietnam and opened a new development center in Da Nang. Our Vietnamese team started working there already at the beginning of January 2019, after an intensive training in Europe. The opening of the Da Nang’s branch, together with the existing development centers in Prague (Czech Republic), Brno (Czech Republic), and Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), enables IPS to react on constantly growing demand for our services. We are looking forward to start serving our clients from our new location and wish our Vietnamese colleagues a smooth start.

IPS has confirmed its strong partnership with Microsoft and renewed its competencies for the upcoming year. Thanks to the efforts of the whole IPS team we have been rewarded with three Gold competencies (Cloud Platform, Data Analytics, Application Development) and one Silver (Application Integration). Combination of all these competencies will allow us to meet demands of our customers for design, implementation and support of high-tech cloud and hybrid solutions

IPS expands its technical educational program by in-house training sessions presented by external specialists. This program, including new sessions, guarantees that we will stay ahead of global technological changes.

The first external session was related to “.NET Security (ASP.NET Core)” and was presented by Jan Hajek, who holds Microsoft Most Valuable Professional award (MVP) in Microsoft Azure category.

In the near future, IPS will continue with similar external sessions covering areas where we would like to deepen our knowledge.

The series of our summer activities moved from water to the ground, actually into the air. IPS visited a rope park in Vysočany, where many of us showed great courage and sporting spirit!

In the artificial canal in Troja, IPS teams trained and tried out different rafting techniques. After a quick practice on the flat water, four rafts dived into boiling white waters … what happened you can see ... Although the photos could be scary, everyone survived!

Adrenalin, sport and fun in one package… There is not only work, we love to play together. That was a laser game adventure of our Brno office colleagues.

The starting shot of the IPS summer event season was heard on a shooting range in Brno. We have shown sharp eyes and firm hands, which is certainly something that can be useful during our work on IPS projects as well.

4 IPS groups competed against each other, but also against the other groups, in the Pubquiz club. And we were pretty successful. We enjoyed the evening, tested our brains, learnt something new and – last but not least - had fun together. Congratulation to the winning team!

Saturday in Vietnam style - and not only because Lam, our new branch director for Vietnam is in Prague these days. We wanted to find out more about this country, so visit Sapa was the best way......

To find the right people for any company is not easy. We in IPS try to use different channels to find those that are interested in new technologies, personal development and grow and do not look for big corporate environment. Today we met with recruitment agencies to discuss how to find the talents for IPS and what is the market situation. We spent great time together.
