📚 Ce mercredi, le tandem Paper Bonds poursuit ses explorations à Rabat lors de son deuxième séminare, cette fois-ci consacrée aux vies matérielles, sociales et affectives des livres.

📚 À travers échanges et discussions interdisciplinaires, l’événement interrogera les circulations & transmissions du livre comme objet vivant.

📚 This Wednesday, the Paper Bonds tandem continues its explorations in Rabat with its second seminar, this time focusing on the material, social, and emotional lives of books.

The event will examine the circulation and transmission of the book as a living object through interdisciplinary exchanges and discussions.

📚 We are pleased that Hélène MARTINELLI (ENS de Lyon / CEFRES) and Giedrė ŠABASEVIČIŪTĖ (Oriental Institute, AV ČR / CEFRES), principal investigators of the TANDEM Paper Bonds project, will take part in this interdisciplinary exchanges.

What is decolonization, and why should feminism be decolonized? In what ways do certain forms of feminism contribute to colonization, dispossession, and exploitation? Françoise Vergès will answer these questions by examining Western feminist history and theory and exploring what decolonial feminism proposes.

To mark the Czech publication of Un féminisme décolonial (La Fabrique, 2019), join us for a lecture by Françoise Vergès and a following debate moderated by Zuzana Uhde, organized by CEFRES, Nakladatelství Karolinum, Sociologický ústav Akademie věd ČR, Institut français de Prague & Filozofická fakulta Univerzity Karlovy.
